Meet Kayron Warren of Kayron Hudson Warren State Farm Insurance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayron Warren.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kayron. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I opened my State Farm agency in June of 1993 after an 11-year career in the corporate world and a longing to have my own business. An opportunity came my way to not only have my own business but to be located in my hometown. I have deep roots in Douglasville and the chance to have a business that could allow me to give back to my community was really special. This year marks my 25th Anniversary as a State Farm Agent and I have enjoyed every minute.

So many things about the community and the industry have changed over these years and it has been a challenge to adapt and meet those changes. I am grateful to my family for the incredible support that they have given me and my team of agents and employees who have stood with me and dedicated their lives to help others make life go right.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have been very fortunate and my life and career have been mostly a smooth road forward. In 2005, my husband was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor. Having this State Farm agency and my incredible team allowed me to concentrate on the care of my husband and our daughter. Had I still be an employee in a corporate environment, I do not believe I could have devoted the same time and energy to my family. I am forever grateful that my career is one that provides that kind of flexibility.

After my husband’s death in 2006, having my agency provided a wonderful opportunity to get back to work, to feel the kindness and empathy of others, and to move forward with my life. It also allowed me to provide financially for my daughter and myself in ways that most people are unable to do. Since then, I have been more able to help people understand the obstacles that can come into their lives and show them ways to prepare. I am even more convinced that my career is one that truly makes a difference in lives.

Kayron Hudson Warren State Farm Insurance – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
As a State Farm Agent, I represent State Farm Insurance Companies and all of the products and services that are available. I am fortunate to have the most fantastic job in that I meet with people every day and show them ways to protect their assets and their families. I become an important part of their lives and am often able to participate in life events such as graduations, marriages, births and adoptions, and retirements. I like to think that I specialize in life events and love that I am able to be there when my customers need me the most. I am privileged to help them plan for the unexpected and am honored to be able to assist even when a death occurs.

I am most proud of the times when I have been able to deliver that life insurance benefit check that I know will allow a family to continue on after the death of a loved one. I am also proud to be there in the event of a property loss as helping someone after the loss of their home or their car is so important. State Farm Insurance allows me to know that I can be there when someone needs me the most. The financial strength of State Farm lets me keep the promises that I make to my customers every day.

The wide variety of products and services that I am able to offer allows me to find creative ways to meet my customers’ needs. This sets me apart from other insurance agents and gives me and my customers an advantage that cannot be matched.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Reaching my 25th year of service to my community has to be one of my proudest moments as a State Farm Agent. So many opportunities have arisen over these years that I know would not have been available to me otherwise. Finding ways to positively impact Douglasville is always exciting. My team and I have been thrilled to participate in local charities.

We know that we have really made a difference for the people of Douglasville and that is fantastic. On a more personal level, it has been my great privilege to employ and mentor some really incredible people. Helping someone achieve their career goals has to rank as a source of great pride.

Being a State Farm Agent allows me to train and mentor team members and I have been fortunate to see many go on to own their own agencies or move into other careers that have enriched their lives. What a thrill to meet up with one of my former employees and see their growth and success.
