Meet Christina “Yaya” Battle of Pompoir Vulva Care

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina “Yaya” Battle.

Christina “Yaya”, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
To be a sex therapist is to be asked random questions regarding human sexuality. I have discussed orgasm equality with many females in conference settings. I’ve been stopped in the market as if I have a sign on my forehead. I find myself answering questions like, do you always cum? Oftentimes, I have gotten direct messages on Instagram from females asking how to achieve an orgasm or if their amount of discharge is normal? After having many conversations with total strangers, I realized some commonalities and started to develop a solution thus Pompoir Vulva Care.

Has it been a smooth road?
As a married woman, it can be challenging being open with strangers about how to achieve an orgasm as well as being respectful to my private union. I noticed how some people would look at me like I could give them an orgasm. I advocate for orgasms so cum yes but do not come for me! I have to make sure clients understand I am not interested in live demonstrations. Pompoir’s vision is about empowering women and men to ask for what they want before, during, and after sex.

To end the taboo regarding human sexuality. No more slut-shaming women who are not afraid to openly discuss sex. I have to make a clear distinction between discussing sex and requesting sex. And I’m not perfect, so I have to check myself to make sure I am not crossing any boundaries and keeping conversations ethical.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Pompoir Vulva Care story. Tell us more about the business.
Think “Victoria Secret” without the secret list of ingredients. Pompoir is a Naked Therapy organization providing sex education and vegan vulva care products.

First lets visit the science, sex anatomy 101. How often do you hear the term vulva? Most people call it vagina, which is actually the reproductive canal. The vulva is the female external genitalia containing the clitoris! And like most of our external skin, the vulva requires basic hygienic maintenance. But many commercial products can cause vaginal infections and ruin your vulva’s delicate pH balance due to harsh chemicals and added preservatives.

Pompoir specializes in pH balanced feminine wash, mist, and our BEST SELLING organic V Lip gloss lubes. V Lip glosses are for moisturizing (labia) lips down there. They are great for clitoral stimulation and last longer than water-based lubricants but are not latex compatible. V glosses are edible because they’re essentially food. All ingredients are 100% natural including rose water, aloe vera, coconut oil, organic essential oils, and CBD (cannabidiol) oil.

Cannabis!? If you thought weed oil so women can get their clits high to achieve more intensifying orgasms? You are partly correct. Until THC is legal in all U.S. states, Pompoir uses Species I hemp extract with all the cannabinoids except for THC. What does this mean for users? The skin becomes more sensitive to touch, add some friction, and voila ORGASMS, ORGASMS, ORGASMS!!!

The CBD oil reportedly greatly enhances orgasms as well as makes penile/clitoral erections stronger. Users report a warm tingly sensation making it harder for males to pull out during unprotected intercourse so use with cautious unless you are looking to increase chances of fertility. Not yet ready for all that? Cool… Pompoir offers other herbal infused V lip glosses with or without cannabis. Check out our Ylang Ylang lippy it’s a natural aphrodisiac and V odor eliminator. Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years?  Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
In the next 5 to 10 years cannabis will be completely legal in all U.S. states. I believe this will cause a dramatic shift in the way we look at health care treatment options. Undoubtedly, cannabis has some positive and exciting effects on the body.

Due to the shift in public opinion, our health care system will begin to accept more holistic integrative treatment options. Medical cannabis use results in less side effects and lower healthcare costs. When it comes to woman’s herbal medicine anyone with a backyard can heal themselves by collecting and preparing plants as both food and medicine.

For example, users report that Pompoir’s V gloss infused with cannabis oil reduces menstrual cramps and pain associated with sex.
