Meet Jason Lindner of Highdeas Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Lindner.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was always interested in filmmaking for as long as I can remember. I first started creating DIY videos on my parents VHS camcorder when I was in 2nd-grade making jackass films + short narratives. I studied film + video production in high school and attended film school at Georgia State University.

After I graduated from GSU in 2016 I began taking my freelance video production company, Highdeas Productions, much more seriously since I did not want to get a real job. I have been pursuing this career path ever since full-time. I basically like to create shit. Recently, I have been getting more into film photography & just taking more stills in general. I’m still just getting started.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
a major challenge I feel that comes along with owning an independent business or company is maintaining a stable + consistent workflow. Sometimes with my work, getting hired is very sporadic and is not an ideal reliable main source of income. Living in downtown Atlanta, I have also had my gear/equipment stolen a few times…

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Highdeas Productions – what should we know?
