Meet Marc & Anna Barbier of The Woodstock Flower

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc & Anna Barbier.

Marc and Anna, please share your story with us. 
We grew up in Woodstock as family friends. Fast forward through college at KSU, getting married, traveling the United States and Canada in an RV, to finally settling down back in our hometown. Woodstock always had our hearts.

After learning the in’s and out’s of weddings while running Marc and Anna Photo and Film, we decided to “branch” out and press into another passion – flowers. And The Woodstock Flower Truck was born.

We loved the idea of the Flower Truck. It makes us think of warm summer evenings when the ice cream truck would play that siren song. You would run over with your friends and your 50 cents and pick your favorite treat. Then you would sit around and enjoy while watching the fireflies and breathe in the last rays of the day.

The truck visits festivals, markets, and local events to offer pick-your-own flowers and pre-made bouquets and floral products. The other branch of the business offers full wedding and event floral services – The Woodstock Flower Company.

Flowers make people happy. There is a peace with flowers during seasons of sadness while yet a joy during seasons of happiness. Flowers seem to transcend emotions and be the appropriate gesture when words often won’t do. And who doesn’t love the experience of walking up to a truck and plucking flowers?

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a blast! With this being our 2nd business, we feel like we got a head start in it all. We are more comfortable with making business decisions and better understand how to approach a new adventure like this one!

The Woodstock Flower Truck offers walk-up services at public events and around town through the week. You can pick your favorite flowers for an on-the-spot bouquet, purchase a pre-made bouquet or any number of other floral products available that day. Through the truck, we also offer party and event services. This could be a gathering of friends sitting together while we guide you through making a fun, floral arrangement. We bring all the materials with us to create an enjoyable, stress-free event. We also offer children’s events with activities geared toward children. All of our events include professional photos so you can sit back and enjoy the event without having to document it all yourself.

The Woodstock Flower Co., the wedding side of our business, offers a variety of services including full wedding florals, day-of bouquet picking for your bridesmaids, and even floral favors for your guests!

We have the BEST team! We’re so thankful for our team lead, Sarah Singleton. She’s an incredibly talented individual whose skills range from floral design, photography, printmaking, and so much more. She’s hardworking, kind, and will always jump in to make it work, make it happen, and make it better.
