We’re looking forward to introducing you to Caleb Anthony. Check out our conversation below.
Caleb, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Right now I’m working on getting my stand up set together! I’ve been afraid to fail and it’s been stoping me for getting up and doing it, but I believe failure is apart of the process. You have to fail to grow and you can’t count it as a loss as long as you learn from it and that goes for anything in life. Staying consistent and continue to make the changes necessary and just remember success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Caleb Anthony — better known online as Calebant. I’m a comedian and content creator who thrives on dark humor and pushing boundaries in a way that keeps people laughing and causing a bit of controversy. My brand is all about fearless, quick-hit comedy that stands out in a world full of safe jokes. Right now, I’m growing my social media presence across multiple platforms, applying for major TV shows, and crafting a stand-up set that’s unapologetically bold, funny, and unforgettable.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Honestly, it’s my friendship with Kirk. He wasn’t just my best friend—he was my brother, the person who always believed in me even when I didn’t. Kirk had this way of making you feel like you could walk through fire and laugh about it on the other side.
He pushed me, he checked me when I needed it, and he reminded me not to take life too seriously, even when it got heavy. Losing him has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced, but even now, he’s still shaping me. Every time I think about him, it reminds me to live bigger, laugh louder, and keep going, because that’s exactly what he would want.
Kirk didn’t just change how I see myself—he made me want to be the kind of person he always believed I was.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I think you need to suffer to really understand life before you make it. It humanizes you. It humbles you. It makes you stop taking the little things for granted. My struggles gave me the strength to push others because I’ve been where they are sleeping on floors, crashing on couches, not knowing how I was going to eat. That was just a few years back. It teaches you to never give up and there is a light at the end of the tunnel if you keep going.
But with hard work and dedication, you can do anything in this world. I still struggle all the time, but I’ve learned that strength isn’t about never falling—it’s about never staying down. And no matter how far I go, I’ll never forget where I came from.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes what you see is what you get. I don’t sugarcoat anything, and I don’t hide behind a different version of myself. I’m a regular person like everyone else I make mistakes, I’m far from perfect, but the one thing I’ll never be is fake. There’s already enough of that in the world. I believe in showing up as my authentic self because everyone is unique, and the moment you stop trying to be someone else, that’s when people really connect with you.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I believe I’m doing what I was born to do. I didn’t go looking for this it kinda just came to me. Nobody really believed in it at first. People used to call me dumb and tell me I was wasting my time. I remember telling my high school counselor I wanted to be an actor, and she told me that wasn’t even possible and suggested firefighter instead. I told her she couldn’t write it down because that’s not what I wanted to do. I’m not saying I’m an actor now, but I’ve definitely made moves in the entertainment space, and my time is far from over. If it was up to my parents, I’d probably be in the Navy on a ship somewhere, but nobody can see your vision but you. Always believe in yourself.
