We recently had the chance to connect with Luvéé and have shared our conversation below.
Luvéé, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m chasing alignment, the version of myself who’s living fully in her purpose. For me, that means becoming a creative entrepreneur and a professional singer while staying grounded in self-love. If I stopped chasing that, I’d feel like I was betraying the little girl in me who dreamed of this since she was seven. Chasing this isn’t about running from something; it’s about running toward who I’m meant to become.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Luvéé a singer, songwriter, and creative based in Atlanta. I moved here on New Year’s Eve to start a new chapter, and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Atlanta has challenged me, inspired me, and helped me rediscover what I truly want out of life and my art.
I’m passionate about creating music that speaks to real emotions, the moments of reflection, resilience, and renewal we all go through. My sound blends honesty and soul, because I believe music should make people feel something genuine.
Right now, I’m working on my upcoming EP, dropping January 10th, 2026. It’s a reflection of growth, letting go, and stepping into new energy. Every song tells a piece of that story, one of transition, clarity, and elevation.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’d say my mom and my godfather saw me clearly before I could see myself. My mom never tried to redirect my dreams, she never said, “you need to be something more practical.” Instead, she accepted that I was always going to be creative in some way, whether it was through music, fashion, or even helping animals. She just wanted me to have a plan and believe that I could turn my passions into something real.
My godfather, who’s also my mom’s best friend, has always understood my love for music in a way that made me feel seen. I told him when I was seven that he’d be my manager one day and that I’d move to Atlanta, and now we’re both here, just like I said. I still remind him of that promise. They both believed in me long before I fully understood the path I was on, and I’m grateful for that kind of faith.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me how to depend on myself and truly grow from pain. It showed me how to move forward from things and people that tried to break me down. A lot of my pain came from being hurt by people who were supposed to protect, guide, or love me; family, friends, even people I trusted in love.
One day, I decided I would never let anyone or anything make me feel that way again. That decision changed everything. It taught me strength, self-worth, and boundaries things success could never give me.
If I had become successful years ago, I probably would’ve been lost. I might’ve had money or opportunities, but not peace. And money can’t heal what you don’t understand about yourself. I’m grateful I went through those lessons first, because now I’m grounded enough to handle everything that’s meant for me.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me is music and growth. Those two things are my heartbeat. I’m a ride or die for my evolution. I have to keep elevating, taking risks, and pushing myself to become better. Music feeds my soul; it’s the one thing that’s always been there for me, no matter what. I’m the kind of person who can’t stay still. I’m always chasing growth and creating something that feels real.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want people to say that I was one of the most human artists they’ve ever known someone who was genuine, real, and easy to connect with. I want people to feel like they could relate to me, that I made them feel seen and understood through my music and through who I am as a person.
More than anything, I hope they remember me for the one-on-one connections for the care, support, and love I gave directly to people. I want to be someone who inspired others not just through my art, but through how I showed up in their lives, making them feel valued, supported, and truly heard.
