An Inspired Chat with Priya Pandha of Atlanta

Priya Pandha shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Priya , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are a mix of real life and a little glitter. I usually wake up around 5:30 AM and check my phone. I’m checking Emails, DMs, and any overnight engagement on my content. Then it’s straight into mom mode: waking up my kids, getting them dressed, fed, and out the door for school. Once they’re set, I jump into my glam, hair, skincare, makeup, the whole thing! because if I don’t do it first thing, it’s not happening. That routine really sets the tone for my day and helps me feel centered and ready, whether I’m headed to work or content planning. It’s chaos, connection, caffeine, and contour!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, im Priya. The face behind glitterrrrfish.

I’m a full-time working mom, content creator, and low-key chaos coordinator. I started sharing snippets of my life, everything from beauty finds and family fun to daily routines and it naturally grew into a brand rooted in authenticity, humor, and a little sparkle.

What makes my content unique is that it’s not just curated, it’s real. I’m balancing school drop-offs, a 9-to-5, and brand partnerships all while still trying to remember where I put my iced coffee. Right now, I’m focused on creating more intentional collaborations with brands I genuinely use and love, and showing women that you can be both fully in your mom era and your main character era.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My dad, without a doubt. He saw me clearly before I ever saw myself. He always knew I had something in me, this mix of creativity, drive, and fire, and he never let me forget it, even when I couldn’t see it for myself. He believed in my potential long before I knew what to do with it. Whether it was hyping me up when I doubted myself or pushing me to go after something bigger, he had this way of making me feel like I was built for more.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “You’re not behind. You’re just becoming.” I spent a lot of time doubting myself, especially during college. Everyone around me seemed to have this clear path, and I was stuck feeling unsure, like maybe something was wrong with me for not having it all figured out. College life wasn’t working for me, and honestly, I felt a little lost.

But what I couldn’t see then was that it was okay to take a different route. That feeling of uncertainty wasn’t failure. it was redirection. I’d tell her that she’s allowed to grow slowly, to pivot, to change her mind, and that her worth isn’t tied to a degree or a timeline. Everything she’s unsure about now, She’ll figure it out in her own way, and it’ll make her story even more powerful.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Is the public version of me really me? Yes and no. What you see online is absolutely a part of me. it’s my humor, my creativity, my love for glam, and all the chaos that comes with juggling work, motherhood, and content creation. That version is real! But it’s also curated. It’s the version of me that shows up with intention.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Could I give everything my best, even if no one ever praised me for it? Yes, because at the end of the day, I’m in competition with myself. I’m not doing it for applause, I’m doing it so I can look in the mirror and feel proud. My happiness comes from knowing I showed up fully, that I gave it everything I had, not because someone else validated it, but because I did. That mindset has kept me going even in the quiet seasons when no one was watching.
