Check Out Bobby’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby.

Hi Bobby, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a writer. I write novels, comic books, short stories, full-cast audio dramas, and some short film scripts. I have been a working writer for a little over 30 years now. As of this interview (January 1, 2026), I have 219 published credits. 45 novels/novellas/collections, 101 short stories/anthologies, 63 comic books/graphic novels, 8 original screenplays, & 4 original audio scripts. There are assorted essays and whatnots that I don’t count, but this is a good representation.

Thankfully, I love what I do. It’s a lot of fun writing and creating stories.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any creative gig can be feast or famine and writing is no different. There are times where sales are good, freelance offers come in, and you’re busy. There are other times where you’re just busy, but sales are light. You just have to keep working at it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I write fiction across various mediums. I love telling stories, creating characters, crafting dialogue, getting to know my characters and readers. I love doing conventions and other events, getting out there and talking books and writing. I love meeting other creators and fans. I love my job.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
When I was around 7 or 8, my dad surprised me by taking me out of school early. We hoped on his motorcycle for an impromptu motorcycle ride through the country. It was a great day. Unexpected and fun.
