Check Out Chef Cole’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Cole.

Hi Chef Cole, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So I’m Chef Cole I started cooking at the age of eight. I worked in the field of culinary for 13 years before I started catering full time. Now in 2023, I’ve been in business for three years come July and I can truly say I’m blessed. I started on the streets bbq in 2020 where it was very successful and it lead me to grab a contract with a truck driving school. Catering almost 5 times a week for 20-30 students at a time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road has definitely hasn’t been smooth at all I definitely experienced some rough times where I struggled to make ends meet. Some of the toughest were when I caught pneumonia and corona at one time, also my truck transmission went out around the same time. There were also times I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Well, I’m a full-time catering chef who does corporate gigs. I also love doing private dinners for married couples. I specialize in just making people smile when eating the food I cook. I am known for my bbq, my pastas, my tacos, & homemade burgers. I am most proud of me just being a role model for kids to look up 2. What set me apart from other chefs is how much I love I put in my food and seeing people go crazy when they eat my food.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Being in the kitchen with Grandma while she cooked me a meal was my favorite childhood memory. She would spoil me by allowing me to help her cook even know I wasn’t that big.
