Hi J, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started music as a way to express myself, it was real, not planned. Playing instruments like the saxophone and percussion sparked my love for writing music . Over time, I saw people connecting to it, and that’s when I took it serious.

As I grew, I learned it’s not just about the music. It’s about building a brand and creating moments people feel, especially when I perform. Energy is everything for me.

Now I’m moving with intention, building my sound, my name, and making sure every move counts.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As the late, great Langston Hughes said, “life ain’t been no crystal stair.” I’ve faced challenges along the way, from finding my sound and building confidence to navigating opportunities and staying consistent. But every struggle helped shape me into the artist I am today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a recording artist, songwriter and creative who specializes in making high-energy, feel-good music that connects especially in club and performance spaces. I’m known for my energy, my ability to create catchy hooks, and bringing a real, confident presence to every track.

What I’m most proud of is my growth, finding my sound, staying consistent, and continuing to push myself creatively while building something authentic. What sets me apart is my versatility and personality. I can make music that makes people move, but also create records that reflect real life and emotion. I bring both the vibe and the substance, and that balance is what makes my sound stand out.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really look at it as luck. I see it as timing, preparation, and persistence. Everything I’ve gained came from putting in the work, staying consistent, and being ready when opportunities showed up. Even the setbacks weren’t bad luck, they were lessons that helped me grow, move smarter, and stay focused.

In this business, it might look like luck from the outside, but behind it is discipline, faith, and a lot of unseen effort. I’ve learned to create my own opportunities, and that mindset is what continues to push me forward.
