Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Baillie.

Hi Joseph, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Joestar was born as Joseph Martin Baillie He was raised in New York, southside Jamaica queens. Right from his childhood, he was listening to the music of hip hop artists Big Sean, Lil Wayne and 50cent,
Joestar started his career doing security and After working there he realized that it wasn’t for him . To follow his passion, at the age of 21 he dropped out of college.to pursue music

Joestar turns head in 2019 with single “Look At the Bag” creating flurry of releases that showcased catchy hooks, with psychedelic, Trap music aesthetic.producing in his home studio

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth ride when being an upcoming artist. In nyc if you don’t work you don’t eat but at the same time brings down your confidence knowing you rather be in position to do music full time but got to do what you got to do most people can’t handle it and just quit music but it’s my form of expression for me so I keep going

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love to perform my music live cause I’m usually quite so when I’m on stage I just let it all out and give a high energy performance

I engineer my own music so I can work at my own pace and craft my own sound

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
This ain’t something that you just get into for a Trend and you going to just magically blow up you got to invest and put in the time and work. even if it’s a small budget or you can do the other way for free and just post ig TikTok content YouTubeshorts every day and don’t get discouraged eventually you will see results
