Check Out Monique Fandozzi’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Fandozzi

Hi Monique, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
It was back in 2011 roughly. My sister and her friends wanted to be models. I am 13 years older so I paid for a few of them to have a photo session and it was kinda expensive. A friend of mine on social media told me it would be cheaper to buy a camera and take the photos myself. Then we both learned how to edit photos. Sometimes I look at the earlier photos and laugh and realize how far I have come to get to now. But no one really calls anymore. Photography is something i put my soul into. My tears, my fears, my inner most feelings and what the audience sees is my artwork

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Well I have had struggles in my life and it’s been a tough road. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t on this path of life but everyone has tough times. After the tears and realizations I pick myself up off the floor and alchemize the pain. I had cancer back in 2020. There have been times the calls just stop and my photography has just become a hobby now but it still brings be peace

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a jack of all trades. I will try anything at least once. I have been working in the medical field for 26 years approx. I have done amateur night comedy shows (have to take lots of shots due to nerves lol) i love to laugh it feels better to laugh then to cry and my rule of thumb is even if u have to make your self look like a fool get everyone to bust gut laugh and u will feel the biggest joy you ever felt in your life. The love of my life is photography and my best pics have been taken when i was most depressed. it’s something about a client seeing their picture and not realizing how beautiful they are. If I had to work for free and be on time and never leave work on time it would be photography

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?

I don’t know why but this contest is something i’m dying to win. we deserve one win once in a while, after going through some of the most unfair times in my life where I would just cry and cry. I just want a win. and it doesn’t have to be extravagant Just one win would suffice
