Obichi , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Obichi Marshall, a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and storyteller driven by purpose. My journey began with a passion for creating stories that inspire, challenge perspectives, and leave a lasting impact. Over the years, I’ve explored different creative paths, from beauty and media to film production, each one teaching me resilience, discipline, and the importance of staying true to my vision.

Like many entrepreneurs, my path hasn’t been linear. There have been seasons of uncertainty, setbacks, and moments where I had to choose faith over fear. Those experiences shaped me into the woman and creative leader I am today. They also strengthened my belief that purpose is discovered not just in success, but in perseverance.

Today, through PRYNE Media and my creative projects, I focus on producing meaningful content that entertains while sparking conversations and inspiring people to live intentionally. Whether I’m on screen, behind the camera, or building brands, my mission remains the same: to tell stories with excellence, authenticity, and heart.

My personal mantra is, “Live a life of purpose on purpose,” and it continues to guide every decision I make. I believe I’m only at the beginning of an even greater journey, and I’m excited to see where purpose leads next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve come to appreciate every challenge because each one has shaped my character and strengthened my purpose.

One of the biggest struggles has been building a creative career while navigating limited resources and the uncertainty that often comes with entrepreneurship and filmmaking. There were moments when projects didn’t go as planned, opportunities fell through, and I questioned whether I was on the right path. I also had to learn the difficult lesson that not everyone who enters your life or business journey is meant to stay.

As a creative, I’ve faced rejection, financial challenges, and the pressure to conform to industry standards that didn’t align with my values. Choosing authenticity over shortcuts hasn’t always been the easiest route, but it has given me peace and clarity.

Looking back, I realize that every obstacle prepared me for greater responsibility. Those seasons taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of staying grounded in purpose. Today, I don’t see my struggles as setbacks, I see them as part of the foundation that continues to shape the leader, storyteller, and entrepreneur I’m becoming.

I’m a filmmaker, actress, producer, entrepreneur, and digital storyteller with a passion for creating meaningful, purpose-driven content. Through my production company, PRYNE Media, I develop stories that entertain while inspiring conversations about life, faith, relationships, and personal growth.

I also create lifestyle and entertainment content across social media, where I’ve built a community that appreciates authenticity, humor, and positivity. Whether I’m acting, producing a film, interviewing guests, or building a brand, my goal is always to create work that leaves people better than I found them.

What I’m most proud of is my ability to keep creating despite challenges. I’ve learned to wear many hats, lead teams, build businesses, and remain consistent in pursuing my vision without compromising my values. Every project I release represents courage, growth, and a commitment to excellence.

What sets me apart is that I don’t create just for visibility, I create with intention. My personal mantra, “Live a life of purpose on purpose,” is reflected in everything I do. I believe storytelling has the power to heal, educate, and transform lives, and I strive to make every piece of content I produce meaningful, timeless, and impactful. Any big plans?
The future is incredibly exciting for me because I feel like I’m stepping into a new season of expansion. My vision is to build PRYNE Media into a globally recognized media and entertainment company that produces impactful films and original content capable of reaching audiences across the world.

I’m also looking forward to taking on more challenging acting roles, producing larger-scale projects, and collaborating with creatives from different cultures and industries. As a storyteller, I want to continue creating work that entertains while inspiring people to live with purpose and intention.

On a personal level, I’m embracing growth and new opportunities, including expanding my international presence and exploring new markets. I believe every new environment brings fresh perspectives and possibilities, and I’m excited to see where this next chapter leads.

Ultimately, my goal is to leave a legacy through storytelling,,one that inspires courage, faith, and purpose in others. I’m looking forward to building businesses, mentoring emerging creatives, and creating work that will continue to impact lives for generations to come.
