Check Out Omesha Hutcherson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Omesha Hutcherson.

Hi Omesha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Formally known as Optimistic Outlook, my boutique started in 2017 with $500. After graduating from Tennessee State University, I knew I wanted to have a business of my own outside of my career field. I always had a passion for fashion, teaching things that I’ve studied as well as being an inspiration for others to always follow their dreams. I was an advocate for achieving anything you put your mind to.

After launching my brand, my business as well as myself began to grow simultaneously. I enjoyed interviews, pop-up shops, and delivering quality items to women that made them look and feel like the highest version of themselves. It was my goal to bring out the true divinity of each woman. This would then allow them to tap into their next level of womanhood. On my 4th year, I decided that I wanted to step back to rebrand into the woman I was growing to be. This version of myself provides a different aesthetic for my new brand, Omesha Lasha, “For The Impeccable Woman Who Embodies Her True Essence”.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road is becoming smooth, I will say that. The grace of The Most High has brought me thus far. I’m truly honored to be in relation with my creator and I think that is very vital on this journey as you navigate through the struggles. I struggled with a lot along the way because I don’t have a visual of anyone doing what it is I aspire to do. I had to learn business on my own. Marketing, networking, branding, sales, finances, shipping, inventory, etc. Everything I know now, I taught myself and I’m still learning. Then, I had to overcome fear and doubt… am I good enough, will they like what I have to offer, am I capable of this, etc. Everything is trial and error. You lose and you gain. You live and you learn.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the Creator of Omesha Lasha. A boutique “For The Impeccable Woman Who Embodies Her True Essence”. I am known for providing a blissful next-level shopping experience. Giving goddess vibes that allow other women to tap into their most authentic selves. I am most proud of my resilience, dedication, support and the knowledge I provide to my tribe. What sets me apart is my energy, my confidence and my wisdom. The aura I exude feeds the souls of those whom I exchange energy with.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love that the city is growing and filled with opportunities. I love the culture of Atlanta and how the people and communities come together to support one another. I love how the city is a representation of Black Excellence.
