Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick Sharp.
Hi Patrick, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Shortly after we were married, we discovered a shared love for design, architecture, and creating meaningful spaces. We began renovating and reimagining homes for ourselves, eventually becoming serial “live-in flippers,” moving ten times in twelve years. Each home became a creative laboratory for testing ideas, refining our point of view, and learning how thoughtful design can transform the way people live.
As friends and neighbors repeatedly asked, “Who designed your home?” we realized the answer was us. What started as a personal passion project eventually became Mister + Mrs Sharp — a full-service interior design studio now serving homeowners, businesses, and builders across metro Atlanta.
While the projects have grown, our philosophy has stayed the same: create spaces that feel elevated, timeless, welcoming, and deeply personal to the people living in them.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been relatively smooth. We are grateful to have found work that we love, so any bumps in the road seem part of bigger journey and part of our “training”. As a married couple, working together, we’ve learned our natural division of responsibilities over time. Meghan takes more of our furnishings clients and flourishes in finding just the right fabrics for furniture and drapery. I take on more of our finishes work, partnering with builders and selecting the perfect stone, tile and lighting.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are an interior design studio known for warm, modern interiors. We’re most proud of our portfolio and the homes we’ve created for families across Atlanta and beyond. What sets us apart from others is our internal partnership. When someone hires Mister + Mrs Sharp they get two principle designers with masculine and feminine insights and each of our design strengths. We’re also proud that many of our projects have been published in national and regional design magazines from RUE magazine to Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Interior Design seemingly changes as frequently as trends but the process and presentations have been the same for decades. AI has created new tools that make things like visual renderings easier and clients are quickly starting to expect to be able to “see” the full design before they make a decision.
