Hi Priya , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
From stay-at-home mom with a shopping addiction to successful beauty influencer – that’s my journey in a nutshell.

I used to be consumed by my love for buying trendy makeup. I would order so much makeup daily. If it was trending that week, if the packaging was cute, if a new brand was starting up and I saw it on my feed, I bought it. Despite my passion for fashion over makeup, I always received compliments on my flawless makeup and eyebrows whenever I did step out.

One day my husband came
To me as I was doing swatches on yet another new eyeshadow pallete. He said “why don’t you start filming your unboxings?” It was his brilliant idea to turn my makeup addiction into a YouTube channel. Late nights in my bedroom, after putting the kids to sleep, I filmed unboxing videos, tutorials, and swatches. With the help of a video editor, I brought this idea to life.

As my videos gained traction, I found myself at the forefront of a rapidly growing community. Whenever someone asked about my makeup looks, I directed them to my YouTube channel. Before I knew it, I was creating reels, TikToks, and keeping up with the latest beauty trends.

Now, brands that I could have only dreamed of working with are eager to collaborate and work with me. The journey from a makeup enthusiast to a beauty influencer in Atlanta has been nothing short of miraculous, and I’m excited to see where this path takes me next.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I definitely faced a number of challenges that tested me.

Balancing filming, editing, and managing a household with two children was a constant struggle. Late nights and early mornings became the norm as I tried to juggle my responsibilities.

As someone who was relatively new to the world of content creation, I often questioned my abilities. Overcoming self-doubt was a significant challenge.

Learning the ins and outs of video editing, lighting, and camera equipment was a steep learning curve for me. Overcoming technical challenges and mastering new skills took time and effort.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Balancing motherhood with my passion for beauty content creation gives me a unique perspective that sets me apart from other influencers. My audience appreciates my family-centric approach and the authenticity it brings to my content.

I am most proud of the journey I have taken to build my influencer platform from the ground up. I never imagined that I would one day be collaborating with top brands and creating content that resonates with a wide audience.

Currently I am a content creator for the outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock.
My passion is fashion and beauty. I am
Always open to collaborations with makeup, beauty, and fashion brands and local businesses that share the same ideologies as me.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband is my biggest cheerleader. His belief in my talent and potential gave me the confidence to take that leap and start creating content. He has been supporting me through the ups and downs of building my influencer platform. His encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in my success.

My parents have always been my biggest supporters. My love of makeup came from my mom, and me determination comes from my dad. From a young age, their belief in me and constant encouragement have been a source of strength and motivation throughout my journey.
