Check Out Ron Viper’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Viper.

Hi Ron, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I got started as a kid in high school doing the school dances. The love for DJing continued into adulthood as I continued to prefect my craft in many ways and winning many DJs awards. My biggest spotlight came from my appearance on the BET Dj reality show Smirnoff Master of the Mix where the DJs competed for $250,000. I didn’t win the grand prize but I won the ultimate house competition segment of the show and won $5,000. After my appearance on TV I decided to pursue film and acting and stared in two movie as a lead act, director and producer. The Dj talent allowed me to build and to continue to push the Atlanta music culture forward where I established a club culture at club Lacura in the city where artists would come and break their music in the beginning of their career with big names like Rich Homie Quan, Young Thugs and Migos pull-up every weekend to hang out and to get their new music played. Music executive and icon Lyor Cohen is quoted as saying, “Lacura is an import part to the music culture in the city” and the dynasty is still going strong today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a smooth road.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As VP of 800 management we consult and work with the development of independent artist. I’m know for being a top Dj and now a top content creator on instagram with over 100 million plus views. I’m most proud of a lot things. First, the fact that I’m one of the pioneers to establish a culture at a club that allowed Atlanta artists to come break their music and Lacura is the only club in Atlanta that has a culture that strong that has transcends a span over 10 plus yrs of consistency and that alone makes me legendary because no other club in the city can stake the claim. Secondly, the fact that we are in a social media day and age, I’m proud at how Ive been able to transition into that space and dominated by out perform my Dj peers as well as other top content creators and blow them off the map with viral reel as big as 50m, 20m, it goes on and on. I really love the fact that big brands are reaching out to work with me and offer brand deals is amazing.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
If you’re speaking of having a personal mentor that is someone I can call and talk to well, I never in my life felt a need to have that type of person outside of God to call on. lol but I do a lot mentoring to anyone that might openly tell me about certain situations regardless if it business related or personal and I definitely be trying to mentor the youth. I’m the type of person you can meet today and I will be trying to encourage you to do something great or just be great at whatever you are doing. The closest individual to that type of person for me would be Andrew Tate and I do watch his content from time to time but other than that I go internally to higher self for answers and solutions.
