Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade’ Hudspeth.

Hi Sade’, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It’s A Look has been in the making for years. I wanted to create a place for individuals who love “all things beauty,” from hair, fashion, makeup, photoshoots, even head-to-toe makeovers. At the time I was doing hair out of my house and no one knew I had just signed a lease for my very own shop. I worked hard for a year and a half straight, keeping every bit of happiness and progress to myself before releasing my baby to the world. This was during the rise of Covid, but I was physically and mentally ready. The time had finally come and Its A Look was open, up and running. It’s A Look provides quality service and I stand on that. I am currently in the process of expanding my current location in Dothan, AL and looking for individuals who want to grow in my area and surrounding areas. My salon is growing strong. You can keep an eye out for me, “It’s A Look;” in Macon, Ga Summer/Fall 2023.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I’ve faced many challenges along this journey, Nothing has been smooth sailing. From the first salon flooding to my name change to building a team; nothing has gone as planned. I take everything one day at a time, and I’m never the one to rush my process. When God says “move,” that’s when I get active.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I wear many hats, but I am known for hair. I’m a great hairstylist and salon owner. My salon is called “It’s A Look.” I take pride in my work and clients. I cater to my client’s needs and give them the “slays” they have been longing for. I’m also a fashionista and fashion consultant. I have a true passion for fashion and I express it through my hair and clothing. Since I opened Its a Look, I’ve been able to provide my clients with the luxury of both. Adding in makeovers and photoshoots, for those who want to go the extra extra mile. At Its A Look I specialize in wigs, lace, clothing, beauty, and much more…

One thing I’m very proud of is It’s A Look is able to give women that space they can come to and relax and have some ME time. Each client is able to have their own private appointment-only session. We can sit and talk, watch a little tv, vibe, and discuss different looks they wish to try, etc. It’s A Look is it.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I would love to be a celebrity hairstylist and that day will come Very soon. It’s A Look is headed to Georgia!
