Today we’d like to introduce you to Seven.
Seven, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It started off as just a love for fashion… putting on clothes and expressing myself. I thought that’s what God had in store for me. First, I started off designing clothes, then I shifted into becoming a wardrobe stylist, working with talent on TV, celebrities, artists, and even some of our Atlanta officials.
Everything shifted when God called me to take a break from those things and give all of my attention to Him. And when I tell you, it changed my whole life. It got to a point where I kept trying to make everything work. I was hustling, trying different routes to make it and get noticed in such a saturated industry.
At the time, it didn’t make sense why God called me to step away, because it seemed like everything was about to work if I just pushed a little harder. But what I didn’t see was that God wanted to improve my character and heal me from things that may have hindered me from reaching my full potential. He showed me how to navigate situations and relationships. Most importantly, He showed me how to be more like Him.
I am so grateful that He decided to refine me and shape me before elevation. Because if I didn’t have the knowledge, wisdom, and discernment that I have now, what I was building wouldn’t have lasted. I didn’t yet have the foundation needed to carry big success. But His Word says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Now, here I am a year later, better than I was before, ready to take on the industry and step confidently into any room God places me in, knowing that not only does He go before me in everything I do, but He is always with me.
So when you ask where I am today, I feel like I am a living testimony of what happens when you surrender your plans to God, set aside how you want things to go, and allow Him to have His way in your life. It may not make sense in the moment, but if you trust the process, stay grounded, and keep faith even when it looks like things won’t work out in your favor, God will do things you never thought were possible. He will make a way out of no way. He will place you in rooms you never thought you qualified for, all because you chose to do it His way instead of your own.
It wasn’t until I realized that I couldn’t reach my full potential in my own strength. I had to surrender every part of my life and trust a plan I knew nothing about. It changed my life forever, and I’m so grateful that I did. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Omg, no, this has not been a smooth road at all. I questioned myself throughout the whole process, and honestly, I still do sometimes. I’ve wondered if I should just try things my own way, but I know that’s only the enemy trying to distract me. That’s when I have to refer back to my Father’s Word.
One of my favorite verses and honestly what became my backbone through this journey — is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I’ve had to choose to lean on faith, because when you’re in the middle of a storm, things can get so cloudy that you can’t see any possible way out. That’s when we need our Heavenly Father the most.. to order our footsteps and remind us to walk by faith and not by sight. Proverbs 3:5–6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
I think that was the hardest part for me! truly trusting the process and believing that all things work together for the good of those who love God. That includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even when we get frustrated and want things to happen on our timing, we have to trust our Father’s judgment because He can see things before they happen. He literally goes before us.
So for me, it was really about trusting His plan, even when it looked impossible or didn’t seem like things would work in my favor. But honestly, that’s the whole point. How else would He get the glory if it looked like we could do it all on our own?
So no, this journey has not been smooth whatsoever, but I walk confidently knowing that I am in the hands of God — the One who gives me peace that surpasses my understanding during the storm, who keeps me sane, and who still gives me joy in the midst of chaos. I’m so grateful for such a gentle Father. He’s definitely a girl dad, lol.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a celebrity wardrobe stylist, fashion designer, and creative visionary based in Atlanta. My work started with a genuine love for fashion and self-expression, but over time it evolved into something much deeper. I specialize in styling talent, artists, public figures, and creatives in a way that feels authentic to who they are while still making a statement. Alongside styling, I also design pieces that blend bold fashion, storytelling, and purpose.
A lot of people know me for my eye for detail, my ability to create elevated looks that still feel personal, and the way I bring vision to life through fashion. Whether it’s styling for appearances, shoots, events, or designing custom concepts, I approach everything with intention and creativity. I’ve had the opportunity to work with celebrities, artists, TV personalities, and even Atlanta officials, and I’m grateful for every room God has allowed me to step into.
But beyond fashion, I’m most proud of the woman I’ve become throughout this journey. I’m proud that I chose obedience over shortcuts and allowed God to refine me before elevating me. Being a woman of God influences every part of what I do.. how I carry myself, how I treat people, how I create, and how I navigate this industry.
I think what truly sets me apart is that I don’t just want to make people look good… I want people to feel seen, confident, and empowered. I lead with authenticity, discernment, and purpose. In an industry that can sometimes feel surface-level, I’ve learned how important it is to stay grounded in who you are and who God called you to be. My creativity is my gift, but my faith is my foundation, and that combination is what makes my approach different.
What’s next?
I think I’ve learned from my actions in the past that I can sit here and create my own plans, but at the end of the day, God has the final say. Whenever I try to do things my own way, they never seem to work out the way I imagined. So, I choose to lean on Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Honestly, that verse reminds me that God already knows the plan, and I’m learning to trust that more every day. I’m getting used to living a softer life.. not feeling like I have to force everything or control how things will go. So yes, wherever He leads me, I will follow.
