Check Out Taylor W Of Hot Bird ATL’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor W Of Hot Bird ATL.

Taylor W, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As someone with a past and bartending, I was looking for a way to be able to use all of the different assets of my personality in a way that can help me build success for myself and the people around me. Things like customer service and experience are my favorite to build on and working behind the bar gives me the opportunity to find out what people like, and give it to them.
I left my previous job working in a bar, and decided that I wanted to take that experience that I enjoyed so much and grow it into something new, that I can take with me wherever I go.
This brought me to the idea of Atlanta’s first mobile speakeasy bar. Atlanta already has such a vibrant scene with an amazing community, so I was sure that there would be people who are looking for exactly what we offer somewhere out there.
So far in Hot Bird‘s first year, we have been able to cultivate a small community and work with other brands and companies that are just starting out, as well. And moving forward, our plans are just to keep growing this community upward and onward, so we can bring the people the experiences that they’ve been craving.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to progress is never linear, of course, with building the Horse trailer speakeasy bar, we ran into hiccups that pushed us back weeks or months. It’s easy to get discouraged when things go wrong, but I always find that visualizing the future can help minimize the stress.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I would like Hot Bird to be known for our ability to stand out at any event, not just for serving drinks but presentation, punctuality, and aesthetics. I am always thinking of ways to bring new drink experiences to the table, testing them out at our pop-ups and seeing what sticks. My proudest moments are when our clients are happy with the full experience.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
We love working with event planners and venue owners for collaborations or promotions. Our instagram @hotbirdatl gets the most traction for contacts.
