Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Smith.

Hi Antonio, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Throughout my whole life I’ve always enjoyed music. I was always the guy burning CDs for people in school. Putting people on to music is just one of my love languages. I found out about music curation online and instantly was drawn to it. From that day on I started recording videos, posting 3 times a day, sharing music that I liked with the internet and now I’m here.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but that’s all a part of the journey. The steps to grow online are simple, but not easy. It requires persistence, resilience, discipline and patience. Consistently posting with no signs of growth was one of my first hurdles. Dealing with trolls and hateful people in a time where you are not confident in what you do, can really take a toll. You just have to keep your head down, believe in yourself, and do the best that you can and it will all work out in the end.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about SpinHeads?
SpinHeads is an online music discovery platform dedicated to highlighting emerging artists, keep up to date with everything music, and connect with listeners all over. What sets us apart from others is that we don’t just highlight mainstream, trendy music and topics. We find deeper cuts through smaller artists and emerging talent. We’re most proud of staying true to our taste and curating music that resonates with us. SpinHeads offers free playlisting for emerging artists that are having trouble getting exposure. As well as paid and unpaid editorial coverage through social media.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Stay true to you because that is how you find your audience, your clients, and your opportunities. What is meant for you is meant for you.
