Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Nicole.

Ashley Nicole

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started working as a security guard at Mercedes Benz Stadium in 2018. Within my six years there, I always ran into many dope and talented people who never had someone to push them to their full potential or the platform to show their work.

Over the years of getting to know and talking to some of the football players on the Falcons, one of them gave me some advice about being a sports agent. So, in 2022, I started brainstorming and doing research, and that’s when I came up with the idea of starting a Talent agency where not only would I sign athletes and be their agent, but I would also sign other people in the entertainment industry. I launched my company officially in 2023.

The first step I did was to trademark and get an LLC for my company. Followed by obtaining an EIN number and registering my business with the state of Georgia. After that, with some of my resources and contacts, along with going to college for business, it was easy for me to learn the process of certain things within running a management company.

From there, I created my website, put applications on Indeed, did over 100 interviews, and hired people to work as the starting face of my company. Later in the year 2023, I held my first event, and the rest was history. I have been working hard to grow my clientele of athletes, artists, models, actors, etc., under my agency ever since.

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
At first, running a business was not a smooth road. It was a lot of work and sleepless nights. With me wearing all of the hats within my company, I had to juggle a heavy schedule. From taking phone calls to writing up contracts to doing the leg work to promote my business, it was a lot, and it still is to this day. With just my assistant and me, we are constantly up all night with a crazy sleep schedule because we are always brainstorming.

Between work life and personal life, we have hectic schedules. We literally grind day in and day out and pay out of pocket to run and support the business, and we do it because we know at the end of the day, we are helping someone else reach their potential in life, which makes us happy in the end to know that we pushed and motivated them.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
ANM & Company is not just your regular talent agency. We also offer event management services as well. We have a clientele list of athletes, actors, reality TV stars, artists, etc. Our company’s mission statement of Bridging the GAP between YOU + the WORLD is exactly just that.

We make sure that when we represent our clients, they feel like there are no limits to reaching new heights and leaving impressions on millions of people. We put on Fashion Shows and Art Exhibitions, coordinate Corporate Events, host community events monthly, and do numerous other things.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check?
One of the podcasts that I enjoy watching is Dead Ass with Khadeen & Devale Ellis. They have helped me a lot over the past two years of watching them and their journey. I look up to them as inspiration when it comes to relationships and just managing their work and personal lives.

Khadeen is very inspiring, and I love how she juggles being a mom of 4 and still having to work. But just watching little clips that Devale posts on social media of their real-life makes my day, and I just love how authentic, humble, and relatable they are.
