Today we’d like to introduce you to Asuquo Eton.

Hi Asuquo, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My Journey into media started in 2011 with my Talkmedia Nigeria now Talkmedia Africa brand in Lagos, Nigeria but pushed it a step further and expanded my passion into videography and photography with Asuquo Travels when I moved to the United States in 2017.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey into videography and photography in the United States, in the beginning, wasn’t all rosy as I had to learn in most cases the hard way. Navigating those industries and also trying to get more clients/businesses plus trying to connect and network with fellow creatives was a very difficult task.

But overall, after navigating over twenty-nine states, I have been able to understand that in the close to five years in the United States, that allowing your work to do the talking is key to keeping your mental health in check and getting the right clients.

Asuquo Travels Production is a brand that focuses mostly on content creation. I am into the art of videography, video editing and photography. I always in all my shoots whether be it video or photos go over and above for my clients and at the end of putting a smile and satisfaction on their faces. Ensuring my work and word is my bond.

I shoot weddings, events, portraits, commercials, music videos, etc.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was very reserved. But as an adult now, if I am not behind the camera, I enjoy traveling, hanging out with select friends, catching up on series/ TV Shows, going to the movie theatre and also hiking/walking.
