My path to founding RTP Construction is unconventional. Rather than following the traditional apprenticeship-to–general contractor route, I entered the industry as an entrepreneur and business consultant focused on solving complex problems, building effective communication systems, and empowering clients throughout their projects.

My career has been centered on leadership—building and leading high-performing teams, transforming underperforming organizations from financial loss to profitability, and creating cultures that consistently deliver excellence. While I have spent my entire life in and around construction—from hands-on field work to managing multiple commercial projects—what distinguishes RTP Construction is the depth of leadership and business expertise behind the work.

As a former CEO, leadership coach, and growth-focused business consultant, I bring a disciplined, strategic approach to construction. This allows RTP Construction to excel not only in building quality structures, but also in managing people, budgets, and processes with clarity and accountability. Many contractors excel at building but lack strong leadership and business foundations; RTP Construction was built to bridge that gap.

The list is extensive, and no contractor can eliminate every challenge.

Just as importantly, we communicate clearly with our clients—presenting options, outlining trade-offs, and guiding decisions that keep projects moving forward.
