Community Highlights: Meet Diana Cooke of CPR Home Organizing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Cooke.

Hi Diana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always loved organizing and helping others, and combining those two passions led me to the career I have today. Before starting CPR Home Organizing, I worked in healthcare and organized part-time because I genuinely enjoyed it. I was fortunate to work for an incredible woman who owned her own organizing business, and that experience showed me the impact this work can have on people’s lives.

After she sold her company, I stepped away from organizing for a while. But after COVID and years behind a desk, I realized I missed the hands-on work and the opportunity to help people in a meaningful way. After many conversations with my husband, lots of number-crunching, and plenty of prayer, I took a leap of faith and started CPR Home Organizing.

What I love most is that every client has a story. Often, we’re invited into their lives during major transitions – downsizing, moving, welcoming a new family member, or navigating the loss of a loved one. Being able to help reduce stress during those moments is incredibly rewarding. I feel blessed by the amazing clients we’ve served, the wonderful team that makes it all possible, and the relationships I’ve built along the way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I often tell people, “Owning your own business is not for the weak.” Entrepreneurship comes with challenges, long hours, and the reality of wearing many different hats. But is has been worth every bit of it.

The most rewarding part isn’t just building a business – it’s building relationships. Every thank-you note, hug, success story, and opportunity to sit down and hear a client’s journey reminds me why I started. Helping people create more peace and functionality in their homes makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CPR Home Organizing?
CPR Home Organizing specializes in home organizing, senior downsizing, packing, unpacking, and move management services. Our goal is to simplify life’s transitions while creating organized, functional spaces that our clients can maintain long after we’re gone.

One of our favorite offerings is our monthly maintenance program. After organizing a client’s home, we return each month to refresh spaces, make adjustments, and help keep systems working as life changes. We also have a trusted network of resources and business partners, allowing us to serve as an ongoing resource for our clients long after a project is complete.

At the heart of everything we do is helping people feel less overwhelmed and more at home in their space.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Some people might call if luck, but I tend to see it as blessings. Throughout my life and business journey, the right people seem to have appeared at the right time – from mentors and networking partners to clients and team members.
