Community Highlights: Meet Jen Ihrig of The Peachy Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jen Ihrig.

Hi Jen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always been drawn to creating—whether that was through photography, branding, or building meaningful experiences for others. I spent years as a photographer capturing families and milestones, and over time I started to notice something important: people weren’t just looking for photos… they were looking for a way to hold onto their memories.

As everything became digital, so many of those moments started living on phones, in old boxes, or scattered across different platforms—rarely revisited or shared in a meaningful way. That’s what led me to create The Peachy Studio.
What began as a creative concept has evolved into something much more intentional. Today, I help families not only design beautifully curated heirloom albums, but also digitize and organize their photos—so their memories can be preserved, easily shared, and truly enjoyed.

It’s a done-for-you process that turns overwhelming photo collections into something tangible, lasting, and deeply personal—something families can flip through, pass down, and connect over.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been earning trust.
Photos are incredibly personal. They’re not just images, they’re moments, milestones, and memories that people hold very close. Asking someone to hand those over, whether it’s a camera roll, old prints, or family archives, requires a level of trust that isn’t built overnight.

I’ve learned that a big part of my role isn’t just designing albums, it’s creating a process that feels safe, thoughtful, and respectful from start to finish. From how clients upload their photos, to how I curate and handle them, everything is done with intention and care.

Over time, as clients experience the process and see the final result, that trust naturally grows, and it’s incredibly meaningful to be entrusted with something so personal.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Peachy Studio. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Peachy Studio is a modern memory-keeping service designed for families who want to preserve their photos in a meaningful, lasting way, without the overwhelm of doing it themselves.

I specialize in photo organization, digitizing printed images, and designing custom heirloom albums that tell a family’s story in a thoughtful and elevated way. Whether it’s years of photos sitting on a phone or boxes of older prints, I take what often feels overwhelming and turn it into something tangible and beautiful.

What sets my work apart is the level of intention behind it. This isn’t just placing photos into a book, it’s careful curation, storytelling, and design. Every album is created to feel cohesive, personal, and timeless.

I’m also really proud of how simple and approachable the process is. Clients can upload their photos directly from their phones or computer, and I handle everything from there. It allows busy families to finally do something with their photos without adding more to their plate.

More than anything, I want people to know that their memories deserve to be seen, shared, and held, not just stored away. That’s really what The Peachy Studio is about, turning everyday moments into something that lasts.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is preserving the moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

Life moves quickly, and it’s often the everyday moments. The messy, in-between, ordinary ones that end up meaning the most over time. As a mom, I feel that deeply. I don’t want those memories to live only on a screen or get lost in the shuffle of daily life.

That’s really the heart behind what I do. It’s not just about photos, it’s about connection, storytelling, and creating something that families can come back to again and again.

Because at the end of the day, those moments are what we hold onto. And having a way to see them, share them, and pass them down—that’s what truly matters.
