Community Highlights: Meet Justin Nesbit of RED CLAY LAND SOLUTIONS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Nesbit.

Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was raised on a small family farm in Greensboro, where I developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of responsibility at an early age. Guided by my parents, uncles, and older brother, I learned the values of self-reliance, perseverance, and integrity. These qualities continue to shape my personal and professional life.
In high school, my involvement in the National FFA Organization confirmed my decision to pursue a career in agriculture. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Fort Valley State University in December 2023. While there, I worked on the research farm, completed three summer internships with the United States Department of Agriculture, and built lasting professional connections as a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc..

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can confidently say that my foundation was built on a smooth and supportive path. I was fortunate to have strong role models in my life who positively influenced my journey and made it more manageable. Throughout my life, I have learned to view challenges as opportunities for growth. Whenever I encounter obstacles, I approach them as valuable learning experiences that help me improve and perform better in the future.

We’ve been impressed with RED CLAY LAND SOLUTIONS , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The name of my business is Red Clay Land Solutions, but we go by RCLS for short. At Red Clay Land Solutions, we transform ordinary properties into extraordinary outdoor spaces through expert landscaping and full-service land management. From custom design and professional installations to ongoing maintenance, we deliver top-tier quality for residential and commercial clients. With experience, reliability, and a passion for excellence, we create beautiful, functional landscapes that add lasting value to every property we serve. I’m most proud of the growth we’ve achieved as a young company. We’ve experienced rapid, exponential growth in a short period of time and are truly grateful for the incredible customers who have made that possible.
What sets us apart from other contractors is our commitment to building lasting relationships. We prioritize genuine connections and strive to form long-term partnerships with our clients. Every property we work on is treated with the same care and attention as if it were our own.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Many of my customers may not be aware of my agricultural background. This experience provides a strong foundation for our landscaping services, including herbicide applications, plant and turf care, and landscape construction. It allows us to approach each project with informed expertise and practical knowledge.
