Today we’d like to introduce you to Shalana & Rashona Miller.
Hi Shalana & Rashona , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Anyone in the entertainment industry knows that the time you spend trying to book the next gig is stressful meanwhile bills are due.
Infact, we worked as telemarketers in Hollywood off of Sunset & Vine trading to convince people to switch their home phone service to AT&T. It wasn’t as sexy of a job like the travel industry but it was an honest one.
Most of our friends were waitresses, working at bars or strip clubs to make ends meet.
Here’s a polished version that keeps your story and flows well for an Instagram post or reel caption:
Anyone who’s worked in the entertainment industry knows the stress of chasing the next gig while the bills keep coming due.
In fact, before travel, we worked as telemarketers in Hollywood at Sunset & Vine, calling people and convincing them to switch their home phone service to AT&T. It wasn’t nearly as glamorous as the travel industry, but it was honest work and it paid the bills.
Many of our friends were waitresses, bartenders, or working in strip clubs just trying to make ends meet while pursuing their dreams.
That’s why we’re grateful for an industry that allows us to earn income, help families, and create options without having to wonder where the next paycheck is coming from.
The lesson? Sometimes the opportunity that changes your life doesn’t look glamorous when you first start—it just looks like a chance. ✨

Originally from Los Angeles and now based in Atlanta, we’re Shalana and Rashona — fraternal twins with an unshakable love for adventure and a passion for helping others explore the world.
With deep roots in the entertainment industry we have worked with Usher, Missy, Mariah, Jay Z, Jermaine Dupree, Christina Aguilera, Mya, Destiny’s Child, Rayven Simone, PYT, Lil Mo, Nicole Wray, Guinuwine and Aaliyah amongst others. We’ve spent years touring the globe. Life on the road revealed something powerful: travel isn’t just a passion — it’s a profession.
What started as a lifestyle quickly became a calling. We realized we could get paid to do what we love — and help others do the same.
**Fun Fact: We used to be in a singing group with Brandy, and later with Tia & Tamara Mowrey. Our brother was a dancer and choreographer for Micheal Jackson and is now a Director and Screenwriter. Our nieces and nephews as well as our children are natural dancers and singers. We get it from our father, he was never professional but could have been if he would have pursued it. He still sings and dances at 85.
Here’s a polished and engaging version that reads well for a website bio, social media profile, or business introduction:

With deep roots in the entertainment industry, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest names in music, including Usher, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Christina Aguilera, Mýa, Destiny’s Child, Raven-Symoné, Lil Mo, Nicole Wray, Ginuwine, and Aaliyah, among others. Years of touring and traveling around the world gave us a front-row seat to the power of experiences, culture, and connection.

Life on the road revealed something powerful: travel isn’t just a passion—it’s a profession.
What started as a lifestyle quickly became a calling. We discovered that we could build a business around something we genuinely loved while helping others create memories, see the world, and generate income in the travel industry.
Fun Fact: Our entertainment roots run deep. We were once in a singing group with Brandy Norwood and later performed alongside the famous twin duo Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry. Our brother danced and choreographed for Michael Jackson and has since gone on to become a director and screenwriter. The talent continues through the next generation—our children, nieces, and nephews are natural singers and dancers. We like to think it all started with our father, who at 85 years young still sings, dances, and lights up every room he enters. He may never have pursued entertainment professionally, but his love for music, performance, and life inspired generations of dreamers in our family.
Today, we combine our love for travel, entrepreneurship, and helping people create opportunities for themselves and their families—proving that sometimes the journey you were born to take is the one that helps others discover theirs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Are you the one who’s always planning the girls’ trips, family reunions, cruises, or group vacations?
Are you a stay-at-home parent, a sports mom or dad, or simply looking for an additional stream of income?
Here’s something many people don’t realize: when travel is booked, commissions are already built into the price. The difference is that companies like Expedia, hotels, cruise lines, and other travel providers keep the commission. As a travel business owner, you can position yourself to earn those commissions instead.
My sister and I don’t just book travel for ourselves and others—we teach everyday people how to get on the money-making side of the travel industry.
This is a turnkey business opportunity. For less than $200, you’ll receive:
✈️ Travel Agent Credentials
🌎 Personalized Booking Website
💻 Back Office Access
🎓 Unlimited Training & Certifications
🤝 Coaching & Mentorship
📞 Customer Support
Think about it. People spend $200 on concert tickets, brunch, shoes, nails, or a weekend of entertainment without hesitation. What if you invested that same amount into creating an additional income stream for yourself and your family?
When COVID hit, destinations like Tulum exploded in popularity. Fast forward to today, and despite economic uncertainty, flight delays, and government shutdown discussions, people are still traveling. Airports remain busy, hotels are filling rooms, cruises are sailing, and vacations are still being booked.
Whether you personally travel often or not, millions of people do.
So why not get paid from an industry that people are already spending money on every day?
We’ve helped more than 100 families get started in the travel industry, and we’d love to show you what’s possible.
Your next vacation could be more than a trip—it could be the start of a business.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
If there’s one quality we credit most for our success, it’s **discipline**.
As dancers, we learned early that you don’t only show up when you feel like it. You go to class. You attend rehearsals. You practice your craft—even on the days when you’re tired, discouraged, or simply don’t want to.
Success isn’t built on motivation alone. It’s built on the discipline to keep showing up.
As travelpreneurs, that same principle still applies today. There are days when we’d rather relax than make calls, follow up, learn something new, or work on our business. But we understand that the results we want require consistent action.
Discipline is doing what needs to be done long after the excitement wears off.
Talent is great. Passion is important. But discipline is what bridges the gap between goals and accomplishments.
The people who win aren’t always the most talented—they’re often the ones who stay committed when others quit.
Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep growing. Your future self will thank you for it.
