Conversations with Christopher Pinellas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Pinellas.

Hi Christopher, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m Chris aka Chop of RiskTaker Films/Loud Gang TV CEO. Indie Filmmaker started out in the music business so the art of storytelling comes natural. I’m originally from Kissimmee Florida but have been back and forth from Florida to Georgia working and building relations for years now. I started out in the film industry almost 10 yrs ago in front of the camera with small roles here and there. Over time as the network grew I rubbed shoulders with some humble individuals and watched and learned. As my passion for acting grew I watched the process and fell in love with filmmaking. It was like being in the studio doing music but instead of bringing lyrics to life it was bringing ideas and visuals to life. Seeing characters in people which gave me an eye for casting and matching people with characters. Since then I’ve landed a few of my projects (Wingin It & Rum Jungle) on Tubi and my latest holiday film was set to drop around this past holiday but was postponed due to my need for perfection and the release was put off. Growth as a film producer is the standard I want attached to my name so we’re still making some adjustments. When it’s all said and done I want RiskTaker Films to be a force to be reckoned with along with my associate and family at Shoot 4 Me Shoot 4 U productions. Strength in numbers is the power play is as a people need to understand Teamwork makes the Dream work. We are building a Film Studio in Orlando later this year and will be cross marketing the Florida Georgia pipeline of projects so stay tuned.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building a strong team of filmmakers cast and crew. It’s been a struggle due to the competitive nature of the beast especially with strong bullheaded people but I only want strong creatives to work with but we aren’t humble enough to work together and make it work. Slowly but surely it’s coming together, some people are seasonal and with time you’ll figure everything out.
