Today we’d like to introduce you to Gloria Faikai.

Hi Gloria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for creativity began long before Mini Confetti by Gigi was created. As far back as high school, I found joy in anything that involved styling, design, homemaking, and learning new creative skills. As I continued my education, my appreciation for creativity, branding, and design only grew stronger.

That passion for creativity took on a whole new meaning when I became a Godmother. As my Goddaughter’s first birthday approached, I wanted to make the celebration extra special, so I decided to decorate the party myself. Little did I know that one event would ignite a passion and open the door to something much bigger than I ever could have imagined.

My family and friends were amazed by the setup, and before long, I became the go-to decorator for special occasions. With each event, my work reached new families as guests and clients began sharing my name with their friends and loved ones. What started as a passion quickly grew into a side hustle

In 2020, with God first and the unwavering support of my family and friends, I took a leap of faith and officially launched Mini Confetti by Gigi. Five years later, I am grateful and blessed to continue creating memorable experiences and bringing my clients’ visions to life through creativity, thoughtful design, and attention to detail.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. Like many small business owners, my journey has come with its share of challenges. Balancing life as a wife, mother to two amazing children, employee, and business owner has often felt like a juggling act. There have been long days, late nights, moments of self-doubt, and plenty of wife and mom guilt along the way.

Building a business while managing the responsibilities of everyday life has required sacrifice, patience, and a willingness to learn through trial and error. However, every challenge has taught me valuable lessons and helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Through it all, God has remained at the center of my journey and has blessed me with an incredible support system. From my wonderful husband and family to the talented women who have been part of my team, I would not be where I am today without their encouragement, support, and belief in my vision. Their contributions have played a significant role in helping Mini Confetti by Gigi grow into what it is today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Mini Confetti by Gigi is a full-service custom event planning and party styling business specializing in creating vibrant, personalized celebrations that bring our clients’ visions to life. Our services include custom balloon installations, luxury backdrops, event rentals, and full-service event planning and coordination. Whether a client is looking for a simple statement piece or a fully styled event, we work closely with them to create a celebration that feels unique and meaningful.

One thing we are known for is our attention to detail. We believe it is often the little touches that make the biggest impact. We love incorporating personalized elements and unexpected details that create memorable moments for our clients and their guests.

What sets Mini Confetti by Gigi apart is the level of care, creativity, and personalization we bring to every event. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every celebration is thoughtfully designed with our clients in mind, ensuring that each event feels authentic, intentional, and uniquely theirs.

What I am most proud of is the trust our clients continue to place in us. Over the past five years, Mini Confetti by Gigi has grown primarily through community support, repeat clients, and word-of-mouth referrals. Knowing that families and businesses continue to recommend us and invite us to be part of their most important moments is something I am incredibly grateful for and proud of.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always energetic and loved being surrounded by friends and family. I enjoyed being social, staying active, and finding ways to be involved in whatever was happening around me. I’ve always had a naturally caring personality and a genuine love for people, which made me someone who enjoyed helping others and being part of their special moments.

Even as a child, I was drawn to creative activities where I could use my imagination and bring ideas to life. Whether it was organizing, decorating, or simply finding ways to make things more fun and meaningful, I naturally gravitated toward anything that allowed me to create and express myself.

Looking back, those qualities, my love for people, passion for creativity, and desire to serve others, have played a significant role in shaping who I am today, both personally and professionally. They are also the foundation of how I approach every event and every client relationship through Mini Confetti by Gigi.
