Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelley Bowden & Ricci Taylor.

Hi Kelley & Ricci , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Our company started in the Atlanta area at the beginning of 2021. The owners consist of two childhood friends, Ricci Taylor and Kelley Bowden. Everly is a female owned small business owned by two Atlanta natives. What started with 2 friends has now grown to a team of 14 employees. We found our warehouse at the end of 2020, purchased a truck and inventory, and hit the ground running staging homes all over the Atlanta area and surrounding suburbs. Today we stage roughly 350 homes per year and style homes of all price points. We have a full-time logistics team and a team of stagers designing roughly 30 homes per month. We take pride in how custom and curated our homes are staged, never cookie cutter. We aim to stage a home to the buyer demographic and have a successful process that is proven to create less days on market and allow homes to sell for over asking. Helping families move into their next stage in life is at the heart of what we do, and the “why” behind Everly.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In small business there are always struggles. This includes keeping up with demand, growing too fast, letting the business run you, and the constant need for good people and a lot of inventory! We are fortunate to be in an industry that is needed, so one of the biggest challenges is having enough time on our calendar to service all of the clients in our busy season. While every business faces challenges, it is our reliable and hard-working team that make a difference daily to our clients and help us overcome those obstacles. We have many employees who have been with us from the beginning and believe in our brand and what we stand for. We couldn’t ask for a better group of individuals to work alongside every single day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Everly, we help homeowners and realtors prepare a home for listing, by giving potential buyers an emotional connection through staging and design. We are a very custom, and curated company though we operate at a high volume, staging roughly 30 homes per month. We have invested heavily in our people and inventory to deliver top notch customer service and a quality product that helps sellers get to the closing table faster. Moving is already such a stressful time, we pride ourselves in being easy to work with and flexible in a high demand market. We love working in the Atlanta area and working with other creatives in this city. One thing that sets us apart from other staging companies is that we feature local artists’ work in our staging projects- this includes artwork, pottery, candles, and other items that are made by local Atlanta artists. We also have one community project per year that we call “Everly Gives Back” where we gift a family or an organization in need of furniture by helping them make their home a home. It is these projects that give life and purpose to why we do what we do every day.
