Hi Keviona, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business in 2019 when my mom got me a Cricut machine for Christmas. Originally, I only made custom items. How I got to where I am today is my custom item business wasn’t getting any orders so I decided to come up with one thing so stick with which is #BlackGirlLuxury. I have seen the hashtag trending on TikTok so I decided to make that my thing to stick with.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I launched my business on 02/22/22 my logo was basic so I didn’t get any orders. I decided to relaunch on 05/22/22 with better designs. I still haven’t got any orders. The struggles along the way would be support.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I make custom clothing items & party favors. I mostly specialize in clothing. I am most proud of that I haven’t gave up.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Advice for networking is to make sure you tell people about your business. Strangers would support you more than friends. & family.
