Conversations with Kyre Moseley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyre Moseley.

Hi Kyre, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Kyre Moseley, I’m from South Philly but I’ve moved around from Philly to Va to Georgia. When I was younger I was the kid who had what he needed, never had the fancy things or all the newest toys, clothes, shoes, phones, internet, cable, etc. The one thing I did have was my family and friends, as long as I had those strong bonds, I didn’t care about the material things in life nor did I feel like I was missing out on anything because my heart was full, and I believe that care for life and what it has to offer instead of worrying about material things shaped me to be who I am today. Having minimal things actually opened my mind to creation, whether it be drawing, filming YouTube videos, dancing and much more. I was a creative at a very young age.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I’ve had a lot of family and friends who I cared for pass away during this journey. I’ve had seemingly endless obstacles in pursuit of my goals, it’s never been easy. It’s test after test after test. I’ve had many things happen to me right as I was on the cusp of fulfilling my goals and these things have set me back time and time again, I’ve been stolen from/ robbed several times, I’ve sustained very bad physical injuries from work that kept me limited, I’ve had my social media pages that I’ve worked hard for deleted.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actor, I’m a social media influencer and I’m a writer just to name a few. I specialize in making skits and acting. I’m most known for my skits, I make a variety of different skits ranging from very relatable everyday things but also I make skits that are very thought provoking, that require you to think outside the box, I had been doing skits since 2016 but the thing I’m most proud of is my acting. It’s a newer creative outlet of expression for me but it allows me to live in my creativity. I think what sets me apart from others is that while in this competitive industry there are lots of actors I’m one of the few who seem willing to stand for something. I’m not someone who willing to crush another’s dream unethically just to get to mine. I’m not one who’d sell my soul to become what I wish to achieve, I will take the slow, less simple route if it means maintaining my integrity and beliefs. I also believe that my determination and grit to become what I want to become is at another level, I’ve been doing social media for 10 years haven’t made enough money to make it a full time job yet, haven’t become famous yet, nothing much have come from it relatively speaking however still I rise, every morning early I wake up and push the limits of everyday perfecting my craft.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
One surprising thing most people might not know about me is that I love anime and also that I have a twin brother
