Conversations with Maurice Runningman Maddox

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maurice Runningman Maddox.

Maurice Runningman , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

“My world crumbled in 2019 when I lost my mom to cancer. The pain was suffocating, and I found myself lost and homeless, struggling to find purpose. But in the darkness, I discovered a glimmer of hope. Through faith and perseverance, I began to rebuild my life, finding solace in the teachings of Christ. His love and compassion became my guiding light, illuminating a path forward.

As I navigated the journey, I realized that my experiences, though painful, had given me a unique perspective and a desire to help others. I found my purpose in serving those in need. In 2022, I took a leap of faith and founded No Hunger Left Behind Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding the hungry and empowering communities. Based in New York, our organization is a testament to the power of resilience and compassion.

Today, I’m driven to make a difference, using my story to inspire and uplift others. My mom may be gone, but her legacy lives on through me and the work we do at No Hunger Left Behind Inc. I’m grateful for the journey that led me to discover the real meaning of Christ’s love and to serve others with purpose and passion.”

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
