Conversations with Noam Laks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noam Laks.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always believed flowers are a gift of love. when someone receives one of my arrangements, I want them to instantly feel special, loved, and completely captivated by its beauty.

What started as simply admiring flowers slowly turned into experimenting with my own designs, playing with textures, colors, and shapes until creating became a true passion of mine. Over time, that fascination grew into noamie’s flowers, a business built from a love of floral design and creativity.

Every bouquet is created flower by flower with so much intention behind it. I love showcasing funky shapes, textures, and movement, and i enjoy mixing fresh, dried, and artificial florals together to create something unexpected. orchids, vibrant colors, asymmetrical designs, and whimsical details are all a huge part of my style.

My work is inspired by romance, art, and fashion — from intimate homes and dinner tables to editorial shoots and luxury brand events. I want every arrangement to feel playful, funky, romantic, and like a piece of living art you can’t stop looking at.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I’ve been fortunate to overcome one of the biggest challenges early on: transportation and logistics. As a business owner, I’m constantly facing new challenges, whether it’s sourcing flowers, managing events, or growing the business. Every challenge has been a learning opportunity, and I enjoy discovering new and better practices that help me improve my work and provide the best experience possible for my clients.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the owner and floral designer behind Noamie’s Flowers, where I create custom floral arrangements, bouquets, bloom bars, and pop-ups. I specialize in whimsical, romantic, and artistic designs that highlight unique shapes, textures, and movement.

My work is known for feeling both curated and unexpected. I love mixing different floral elements, incorporating vibrant colors, orchids, and asymmetrical designs to create arrangements that feel like living works of art. Every piece is designed flower by flower with intention and care.

What I am most proud of is building a business from a passion that started simply by admiring flowers and experimenting with my own designs. Seeing people feel loved, celebrated, and inspired through something I created is incredibly rewarding.

What sets me apart is my creative approach to floral design. I draw inspiration from art, fashion, and romance, and I focus on creating arrangements that tell a story rather than simply filling a vase. My goal is always to create something memorable that captures attention and makes people feel something the moment they see it.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you are going to make mistakes, and that’s okay. When you’re building something from the ground up, not everything will go according to plan. There will be failures, setbacks, and moments when things don’t work out the way you expected.

I’ve learned that every mistake is an opportunity to learn and improve. Growth comes from being willing to adapt, try new things, and keep moving forward even when things don’t go perfectly. Some of my biggest lessons have come from experiences that didn’t go as planned, and they’ve ultimately helped me become a better business owner and designer.
