Hi Paola, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started baking from my home kitchen with a simple dream — to share love through desserts. What began as a small family passion grew into Chiacakes, a bakery and brand built with dedication, creativity, and teamwork. Every challenge became a lesson, and every cake a story. Today, our goal is to inspire others to believe that with passion and consistency, dreams can become a beautiful reality. 💕🎂
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the hardest parts has been leaving my country at a very young age and having to migrate twice. Being far from my family has been emotionally challenging, especially while being pregnant and working hard to build my dreams from scratch. But I’ve learned that nothing is impossible when you have passion, faith, and perseverance. Every sacrifice has made me stronger and more grateful for how far I’ve come. 💕

I’m the founder of Chiacakes, a family bakery and brand based in Georgia, known for creating elegant, artistic desserts that blend Latin flavors with a modern aesthetic. I specialize in luxury cakes, gourmet pastries, and creative dessert experiences that tell a story in every bite.
What makes Chiacakes unique is the love and emotion behind each creation everything is made with detail, heart, and purpose. I’m most proud of how far we’ve come as a family business, starting from our home kitchen to now inspiring others through our work, our social media community, and our story of perseverance. Our goal is not only to bake, but to inspire to show that dreams can rise, just like a perfect cake. 🎂✨
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that every process takes time, and patience is the key to growth. Success doesn’t happen overnight it’s built with consistency, love, and faith. I’ve learned to trust God’s timing, to keep going even when things get hard, and to believe that every challenge has a purpose. Nothing that comes from the heart is ever in vain. 💖
