Conversations with Santino Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Santino Jones.

Hi Santino, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Santino Jones, and I’m from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. My journey started with a passion for inspiring others through both service and music. Over time, that passion grew into the Won’t Quit Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and giving back to the community through sports events, mentorship, and outreach.

Music has also been a major part of my story. As an artist, I use my platform to share real-life experiences, motivation, and messages of perseverance. Both my nonprofit work and my music come from the same place — a desire to uplift people and remind them not to give up.

Everything I’ve built has come through faith, persistence, and a commitment to purpose. My experiences, challenges, and growth have shaped me into someone who wants to turn pain into impact and create opportunities for others.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I’ve faced many struggles along the way, including doubt, fear, and uncertainty. Growing up, nothing came easy for me, and every obstacle tested me mentally, spiritually, and physically. But each challenge became an opportunity to learn more about who I am, how strong I truly am, and how much my faith has grown. Those struggles helped shape the person I am today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the founder of the Won’t Quit Foundation, where I focus on empowering youth and giving back to the community through events, mentorship, and outreach. I’m passionate about creating spaces that inspire people to keep pushing forward no matter their circumstances.

In addition to my nonprofit work, I am also a music artist. Through my music, I share real life experiences, motivation, and messages of perseverance. What I’m most proud of is being able to impact people both through community work and through my music.

What sets me apart is my ability to use both service and creativity to inspire others and make a positive difference.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that might surprise people about me is that I’m actually a very shy person. A lot of people see the work I do and assume speaking and being in front of others comes naturally, but sometimes anxiety and nervousness can get the best of me, especially in large crowds. I can become very quiet and tend to stay in my own space until I feel comfortable. But once I lock in and remember how important my purpose is, I allow God to use me and bring out the best version of myself.
