Today we’d like to introduce you to Seanondatrack.
Hi Seanondatrack, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in Lake City, Florida, with a childhood dream of working on the railroad. Growing up, I was always fascinated by sounds, particularly locomotives, which eventually developed into a love for music, rhythm, and beatboxing. At the time, I never imagined that my fascination with sound would eventually lead me into the music industry.
My journey into music production officially began in high school when my cousin introduced me to a mobile music production app called Caustic 3. I started making beats on my phone, experimenting with different sounds and teaching myself how to produce. What initially started as a hobby eventually turned into something I became extremely passionate about.
One of my earliest major breakthroughs came through producer AG Beats, which led to a production placement on Chicago rapper Cdot Honcho’s album Takeover, a project that also featured production from established producers such as DP Beats and Zaytoven. That opportunity was a major stepping stone for me and motivated me to continue pursuing music production seriously.
As my career progressed, I began gaining recognition through major hip-hop publications and platforms. My production work on Joey Trap’s album, which included a feature from YBN Nahmir, received exposure through XXL. I also gained recognition through Lyrical Lemonade with artists such as Steve Glo, now known as Steve Believes, and SexxMoneyMitch.
Another significant milestone was my involvement in MoneyMachines, a collaborative project with Steve Glo, SexxMoneyMitch, Polo Boy Shawty, and myself. The project was hosted by legendary mixtape DJs DJ Holiday and Trap-A-Holics and received coverage from The Source magazine. Having my work connected to platforms and names I grew up seeing in hip-hop culture was an incredible experience.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of artists, including RXKNephew, 10KDunkin, T-Hood, Mexikodro, Diego Money, Ethan Sacii, Nutso ThugN, Lex Andretti, ParadiseModd, Fat Foolie, and Khujo Goodie of the legendary Goodie Mob and Dungeon Family, along with many other talented artists throughout the underground and independent music scene.
Throughout my journey, I’ve also developed relationships with producers such as DJ Plugg, Bobby Critical, and Polo Boy Shawty. These are individuals whose work I’ve admired for years, and even after having the opportunity to work alongside them, I still look up to them today.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been helping create the Trapology sound bank for Roland’s ZENOLOGY VST, which has become one of the standout sound banks in the producer community. The project has received support and co-signs from some of the industry’s most respected producers, including Metro Boomin, ATL Jacob, London on da Track, ChopSquad DJ, DJ Plugg, Bobby Critical, and many others.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see how something that started with making beats on a cellphone has grown into national media recognition, working with established artists, and contributing to music production tools used by other creatives.
Despite everything I’ve accomplished, I still believe my journey is just beginning. My ultimate goal is to continue growing as a producer, expanding my relationships throughout the industry, and eventually building something bigger than myself that creates opportunities for other talented individuals.
If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that you don’t have to come from a major city or have expensive equipment to get started. Sometimes all you need is passion, consistency, and the courage to believe in yourself.
Never be afraid to be yourself, because what makes you different might be exactly what makes you successful.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been smooth road with some speed bumps along the way, but that’s how it goes, no matter what the road was God always seemed to guide me thru all of it. It’s not for me to know it’s all His plan
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a music producer, sound designer, and creative entrepreneur professionally known as Seanondatrackk. While I specialize in early R&B, particularly the soulful melodies and emotional sounds of the ’90s and early 2000s, I consider versatility one of my greatest strengths. I pride myself on being able to create music across virtually any genre without being limited to one particular style.
What makes me different as a producer is that I don’t play any live instruments, nor do I have formal training in music theory. Everything I create is done digitally, clicking each note individually and relying on my ear, imagination, and natural understanding of sound. I’ve always believed that you don’t necessarily have to know how to play an instrument to create something amazing. You just have to understand sound and how to make people feel something through it.
My fascination with sound started long before my music career. Growing up, I developed a strong interest in railroads, particularly the unique sounds of locomotives. I’ve always been fascinated by different tones, rhythms, and textures, even in everyday life. I believe that curiosity helped shape my creativity. I can hear potential in almost anything and find ways to transform even the simplest sounds into something great.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both independent and established artists. One of my earliest notable accomplishments was landing production on Chicago rapper Cdot Honcho’s album Takeover, which also featured production from respected names such as DP Beats and Zaytoven. My work has also been associated with projects recognized by major publications and platforms, including XXL through Joey Trap’s album, Lyrical Lemonade through collaborations with Steve Glo (now Steve Believes) and SexxMoneyMitch, and The Source magazine through our MoneyMachines project, which was hosted by DJ Holiday and Trap-A-Holics.
I’m also proud to be associated with DJ Plugg’s production camp, where I’ve had opportunities to connect and collaborate with talented individuals throughout the industry.
One of my proudest recent accomplishments has been helping create Trapology, a sound bank for Roland’s ZENOLOGY virtual instrument, alongside producer PoloBoyShawty. The sound bank has received recognition and support from major producers, including Metro Boomin, ATL Jacob, London on da Track, Chopsquad DJ, DJ Plugg, Bobby Critical, and others. What makes this particularly special is that many of these individuals are producers I grew up studying and still admire today. Being able to contribute to something recognized by people who helped inspire my journey is an incredible feeling.
However, what I’m most proud of isn’t necessarily a particular placement or accomplishment. It’s the journey itself. I started out making beats on my phone, teaching myself through experimentation, trial and error, and learning to trust my ears. I didn’t have a traditional musical background, but I never allowed that to limit what I believed I could accomplish.
Beyond music production, my long-term vision is to establish my own production company, develop talented artists and producers, and create opportunities for other creatives. I want to build something that extends beyond my own name and leaves a lasting impact on the music industry.
Ultimately, what sets me apart is my creativity, versatility, and ability to hear potential where others might not. Whether I’m creating a soulful R&B record or an aggressive trap beat, I approach every project with an open mind and a desire to create something memorable.
I always say, “I don’t play instruments. I play with sound.”
And I believe that perfectly describes who I am as a producer.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
First and foremost, I give all glory and credit to God. Without His guidance, grace, and the people He’s placed in my life, none of this would have been possible. I’ve been blessed with an incredible support system, and I don’t take any of it for granted.
Three individuals who have played a major role in my career are DJ Plugg, Bobby Kritical, and PoloBoyShawty. They’ve consistently advocated for my work, promoted my production, connected me with industry opportunities, and helped get my beats into the right hands. DJ Plugg and Bobby Kritical have always shown genuine love and support, especially whenever I’ve visited Atlanta. PoloBoyShawty, in particular, has become like a big brother and mentor to me. He’s helped me understand the business, grow creatively, and navigate opportunities while always making me feel comfortable asking questions. Our collaborations have helped me grow both creatively and financially, and his mentorship has been invaluable.
I also have to acknowledge the people who supported me before I established myself as a producer. My cousin George introduced me to Caustic 3, the music production app that started my entire journey. Some of my earliest producer collaborators included AG Beats, ThunderBeatz, TaliKrazy, KD6, Lamby, and Diz Made It. We were creating music together long before social media recognition or industry connections.
Throughout my career, I’ve received tremendous support from ChinaMan Hustle, Lex Andretti, CamryWright, and the entire FlexxGod family. Artists such as Solomiah, KeystoneVOS, HBK D$, and Apollo Jetson helped push my sound and build my confidence. I’m equally grateful for Atak, JKassy, Young Klan, and Ethan Sacii, who believed in my creativity, even when I experimented with unconventional sounds.
I can never forget Mr. RRed and SnappadaWriter of Power Blast Radio. They were among my earliest supporters and actually helped purchase a bus ticket for me to visit Atlanta when I was younger. That opportunity allowed me to experience the city’s music scene firsthand and opened my eyes to what was possible.
D-Sims has helped get my production heard in different rooms throughout the industry, while Eastatlantamontana has shared valuable knowledge about navigating the business. Snow Made It, a talented producer out of Birmingham, has consistently advocated for me and actually recommended me to VoyageATL, making this opportunity especially meaningful. Steve Believes has also been like a brother, offering spiritual encouragement, industry insight, and guidance throughout my journey.
I also want to honor my late brother T-Hood, who once told me I was one of his favorite producers. That meant more to me than he probably realized, and I’ll never forget it. Rest in peace, T-Hood.
My hometown of Lake City also played an important role in my development. People like Trapgotti, Dred, Brick, Mucho, B-Way, GoGetItGleezy, the entire OCM team, Vora2X, and Lil Nyne were part of those early chapters. Dred, especially, has been like an OG to me, helping me build connections and find opportunities.
My godbrother Dez has also been a meaningful influence in my life. He’s helped me recognize the connection between my passion for railroading and my creativity as a music producer. Through his perspective, I’ve come to better understand how my lifelong fascination with sound has shaped the way I approach music.
Of course, I couldn’t tell this story without acknowledging my family. My wonderful wife, Ramona, has been an incredible partner and supporter. She helps me manage things behind the scenes, keeps me organized, and makes sure I’m prepared whenever opportunities arise. From preparing for trips to handling the little details that often go unnoticed, she’s always in my corner. My mother has always been my number one cheerleader, and my father has been a strong supporter as well.
The truth is, everyone I’ve mentioned represents only a small fraction of the people who’ve supported me. I’ve received love from people across the country and around the world, and I could never name everyone in a single interview.
Looking back, I recognize how much the people around me have contributed to my growth. Some shared their knowledge, some connected me with opportunities, and others simply believed in me when I needed it most. These relationships mean more to me than music or business. They’re family.
I may be the person behind the name Seanondatrackk, but there’s an entire community of people behind my journey.
