Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Blakemore.
Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My fitness journey didn’t start in a gym, it started with a struggle.
For most of my life, I was overweight. I know what it feels like to walk into a room and feel uncomfortable in your own skin. I know what it feels like to start over, quit, try again, and wonder if lasting change is even possible.
Everything changed when I stopped focusing on perfection and started focusing on progress. After a failed weight loss surgery, I had to change my mindset to one workout at a time, one healthy choice at a time and began transforming my life. Along the way, I discovered that fitness wasn’t about becoming someone else, it was about becoming the best version of myself.
That transformation led me to create Vitamin T Fitness. What started as my personal journey became a mission to help others who may feel intimidated, overlooked, or unsure where to begin. I wanted to create a space where real people could feel welcomed, encouraged, and empowered regardless of their fitness level.
Today, it’s a full-circle moment. The girl who once sat in the back of the room wondering if she could do it is now standing at the front of the room leading classes, motivating others, and helping people discover strength they didn’t know they had. From spin and trampoline fitness to Chairapy and community wellness events, my goal has always been the same: help people move their bodies, improve their health, and believe in themselves again.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the weight I lost it’s the lives I’ve been able to impact. Every class, every smile, every success story reminds me why I started. Vitamin T Fitness is proof that your story doesn’t have to end where it began. If I can do it, so can you.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth road…absolutely not!
It definitely has not been a smooth road. There have been plenty of challenges along the way. One of the biggest struggles has been building a fitness brand while working a full-time career in property management. Balancing early mornings, late nights, classes, events, marketing, and family responsibilities has required a lot of sacrifice and discipline.
I’ve also faced setbacks with locations, low class attendance at times, financial investments that didn’t always produce immediate results, and the uncertainty that comes with entrepreneurship. Closing my studio was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make because I had poured so much of myself into it. But that experience taught me that growth sometimes requires letting go of what no longer serves your vision.
There were moments when I questioned whether I should continue, but every challenge pushed me to become more creative, resilient, and focused. The support from my clients and community reminded me why I started. Today, those struggles are part of my story, and they have helped shape the stronger, more purposeful version of Vitamin T that exists now.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a few hats, but at my core, I’m a community builder, fitness entrepreneur, and property management professional.
Professionally, I have over 20 years of experience in property management, specializing in conventional, affordable housing, LIHTC, and HUD communities. I currently serve in leadership roles focused on operations, training, team development, and resident services. I’m known for creating strong teams, improving property performance, and finding solutions that balance business needs with resident well-being.
Outside of my corporate career, I am the founder of Vitamin T Fitness, a wellness brand dedicated to making fitness fun, accessible, and empowering. I specialize in indoor cycling, Chairapy (my signature chair fitness and wellness experience), trampoline fitness, and community-based wellness programming. My classes serve everyone from fitness enthusiasts to seniors, schools, churches, corporate groups, and adult day centers.
What I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve had on people’s lives. Whether it’s helping a resident find stable housing, mentoring a team member into a leadership role, or watching someone regain confidence through fitness, those moments mean everything to me. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with others. I don’t just lead workouts or manage properties; I create experiences, build relationships, and foster communities where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged. My approach combines professionalism, authenticity, energy, and heart. People may come for the fitness class, housing assistance, or leadership guidance, but they stay because they feel valued.
My goal has always been simple: leave every person, place, and situation better than I found it.
