Conversations with Trinity Robinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity Robinson.

Hi Trinity, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
One day I was talking to my friend about how I wanted to model but it was hard to pursue cause I worked at a daycare.

I was getting bookings here and there but I never could make them cause I would be at work 9-6pm Mon – Fri.

My friend said to just pray about it and tell God what I wanted to do.

I prayed then 3 hours later I got a call from my job saying that they didn’t need me anymore.

I asked if there was something I did and my boss said no, we just don’t need you anymore.

I was so confused , sad, not realizing that this is literally what I prayed for

I told my mom and she said God has something better for me.

She was right of course. 2 weeks later I started finding casting directors and content creators that could point me in the right direction for bookings.

Movies, music videos, skits etc .

After 3 months i found myself consistently getting booked to where i was content modeling full time not needing a 9 to 5.

What a blessing! I encourage everyone to talk to God more. I’ve literally never been happier.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I do not like driving therefore when I first started & wanted to save money, I stayed over people’s houses that I didn’t know that well. That was all God’s protection cause I’m safe and no one tried anything.

Sometimes with casting directors I have to hunt them down for payment.

Triple texting, Triple emailing, threatening to sue or expose. Not fun. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to pay someone who you asked to do a job for you.

That’s really it though

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a model in atl. I specialize in music videos. I think I’m mostly known for Lil poppa’s out of town bae music video. I was atl bae. I was so sad when I heard what happened cause he was soo super sweet.

Some artist wanna flirt with you and that’s it but he was different. He asked us genuine questions, made sure we ate, we were hydrated, he made the environment comfortable to be in.

I’m most proud of the model friends I’ve made. I love them so much. We genuinely look out for each other and get bookings for each other. Forever will look out for my Nicole, Shonyee, Love, Sky, Kim & Dani.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail. I actually love what I do. Ima treat the project like it’s mine. I always do my best and idc if we have to keep filming until it’s just right, ima do it.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Maybe the friends I’ve had when I live in the east. Being young with best friends you can see everyday is top tier.

Walking to each others houses/apartments. Going to every family function. Skateboarding, going to the candy lady (kids nowadays no nothing about that) . I remember my friend Autumn b day is on Halloween and every Halloween was so fun.

I remember being sick and my best friend walked with me on her back with my mom to the hospital who was carrying my baby brother at the time.

Such a real one
