Daily Inspiration: Meet Annie Brar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annie Brar.

Hi Annie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
i got into modeling during covid when i was 10. being home and bored, i feel like everyone picked up something new during quarantine, and for me that ended up being modeling. my mom put me in virtual runway classes, and even though i didn’t do them for long, that’s where my love for modeling really started.

when i was 14, i met with an agency and began building my portfolio with them. i walked my first runway show in february 2025 and officially signed that may. ever since then, i’ve been working on bookings through them and taking on self‑submitted projects.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
it hasn’t always been a smooth road. one of the most difficult moments in my journey happened during new york fashion week, when my grandpa passed away while I was there. I still had to walk the runway that day, and I wrote his name on my wrist as a way to carry him with me. after the show, I left early to be with my family. balancing personal loss with professional commitments taught me a lot about resilience and the reality that life continues even in the middle of major opportunities. it was a challenging experience, but it shaped me and strengthened the way I approach my work.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
i’m a runway and editorial model, and most of my work focuses on fashion shows, creative shoots, and on‑camera projects. i also do music videos and live streams, which has helped me build range and get comfortable in different types of environments.

what sets me apart is my ability to stay consistent, prepared, and adaptable in any setting. i take direction well, but i also know how to bring my own ideas and presence to a project. i’m reliable, easy to work with, and i show up ready to deliver every time.

i’m proud of the work i’ve done so far, including walking new york fashion week and orlando fashion week, building a strong portfolio, and continuing to grow with each project i take on.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
my favorite childhood memory is visiting my cousins in california. i love them a lot, and now i get to see them again whenever i have projects out there, which makes those trips even more special.
