Today we’d like to introduce you to Chantrece Mcknight.
Hi Chantrece, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Military Wife/ Mom/ Entrepreneur/ Stylist
I am Chantrece McKnight, a woman shaped by resilience, faith, and the many roles I’ve grown into over the years. I was born in Marrero, Louisiana, and after Hurricane Katrina uprooted my life, I finished my senior year of high school in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and was able to get my diploma from my hometown high school L.W Higgins before returning home. At nineteen, I married my husband, Melvin McKnight Jr., and stepped into life as a military wife while raising our two children. Over time, I built a path that reflects both my creativity and my commitment to serving others. I’ve spent seven years growing Forever Blessed Boutique, work as a fashion and hair stylist, Marriage Ministry leader at Friendship LRR Missionary Baptist Church, in Pensacola, Florida , and share my love of travel and lifestyle with women around the world. My journey has taught me to adapt, to lead, and to embrace every hat I wear with purpose and confidence.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, and I won’t pretend it has. There were seasons where God pulled me into isolation and made me look closely at my life — my habits, my desires, my business, my future, and the woman I was becoming. Growth hasn’t been overnight; it’s been a process of learning, unlearning, and allowing God to work on me in the areas where I needed patience, discipline, and healing. I had to confront fear, let go of what was holding me back, and trust God enough to take steps I used to avoid. Once I stopped letting fear lead and truly surrendered my path to Him, everything began to shift. I’m still growing, still evolving, and still grateful that God never stops molding me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
In my work, I blend fashion, beauty, faith, and storytelling into one creative lane. I’m a stylist, boutique owner, and lifestyle creator, but at the heart of it, I’m an artist who uses style as a form of empowerment. I specialize in helping women see themselves differently — not just through clothes or hair, but through confidence, identity, and purpose. I’m known for curating looks that feel intentional, meaningful, and spiritually aligned, whether it’s through Forever Blessed Boutique or the transformations I create behind the chair. What I’m most proud of is the impact: the messages from women who say they feel seen, uplifted, or inspired because of something I shared, styled, or created. What sets me apart is that my work isn’t just aesthetic — it’s ministry, it’s storytelling, it’s healing. I don’t just style women; I help them step into the version of themselves they’ve been praying for. My creativity is rooted in faith, shaped by experience, and driven by the belief that style can be a tool for confidence, clarity, and calling.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industry becoming even more personal, digital, and purpose‑driven. Women want more than products — they want connection, authenticity, and guidance from people they trust. Online boutiques and independent stylists will continue to grow, especially those who build real community and offer personalized experiences. I also see faith‑centered and values‑based brands becoming more visible, because people are looking for meaning in what they wear and how they present themselves. Technology will keep expanding our reach, but the heart of the industry will shift toward creators who show their real lives, their real journeys, and their real growth. For me, that means continuing to blend style, faith, travel, and lifestyle in a way that empowers women to feel confident, grounded, and seen.
