Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr.Alicia Solomon.
Hi Dr.Alicia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Dr. Alicia Solomon is a strong and determined woman. She is the mother of three successful men and has always put her family first. Even while attending school at Mercer University and West Georgia, she made sure to balance her education with being a dedicated mother. Alicia studied business management, human resources development, and accounting, proving her intelligence and love for learning. She also holds a pharmacy license certificate, showcasing her versatility in different fields. After moving to Georgia, Alicia opened her own business in the music entertainment industry. She took on various roles within the industry, working with genres such as R&B, rap, and blues. However, she wanted to expand her business and reach out to the Caribbean community, a decision that came with its challenges. Despite it not being an easy journey, Alicia persevered and even found love with someone from her native culture. Through her experiences, she has learned valuable lessons and is now using her voice to encourage others to stay strong in the face of adversity, particularly when dealing with verbal abuse and manipulation. Her determination and perseverance are truly admirable.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It can be challenging to always prioritize the needs of others over my own thoughts and feelings. I struggle with the constant pressure to please others and put their needs before my own, often at the expense of my mental well-being. This can be especially difficult when it comes to dealing with toxic individuals, as they often take advantage of me willingness to give them chances . It takes strength and resilience to set boundaries and prioritize our own mental health, but it is crucial to remember that my needs are just as important as anyone else’s. It is important to stand up for yourselves and not let toxic people manipulate us into sacrificing our own well-being.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a woman of many talents, with a diverse background and set of skills. I hold a degree in accounting, business management, and human resources, which has allowed me to pursue my own business ventures. Currently, I run my own successful entertainment company, Asr1entainment, where I book artists for shows and personal appearances and handle production details. However, my talents don’t stop there. I am also a published author, with my own book entitled “Time Will Tell.” As a woman who wears many hats, I am always seeking new opportunities to challenge and grow myself, and I am excited to see what the future holds. My tone of voice is confident and determined, as I know that with hard work and determination, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
