Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerrion Henry.

Hi Kerrion, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello, first and foremost I would like to thank you for this great opportunity featuring me in Voyage Magazine. My name Kerrion Henry, founder of Keriwinkle, an eyelash extension brand in Atlanta, Georgia. Keriwinkle began in 2019, during my junior year of college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in our student housing unit. During the time, eyelash extensions weren’t popular in the small town of Monroe, Louisiana and I became one of the few persons who specialized in eyelash extensions at 20-years old. From practicing on my peers for better my lashing skills to servicing clients inside and outside of the university within weeks. By September 2020, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to expand. . Eyelashes changed my life forever in one year. I truly believe by being  consistent, word of mouth and social media advertisement got me to where I am today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being an entrepreneur in the beauty industry hasn’t been a smooth road but more like a road with bumps and hills, eventually, you overcome the obstacles you face. Some of the struggles along the way would include starting over in a new city, personal struggles that may can affect your career, wasting money trying to find the best product to sell on the market, keeping up with the beauty industry while constantly changing, etc.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am most proud of how far I have come. From the dorm to the norm! Since then I have bult up an incredible list of influencial and celebrity clienetele. I like to refer to all my clients as celebrities. , including Tokyo Vanity, Beverley Peele, I am Heroine, Mikaela Janalyn and Lethal Smith. I love what I do as an eyelash artist. I love making woman feel great and empowering. Right now, I am currently focused on bettering my craft in the beauty industry. . The industry is constantly growing therefore, there is always room for growth.
