Daily Inspiration: Meet Palmetto Star

Today we’d like to introduce you to Palmetto Star.

Hi Palmetto, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Palmetto Star, known by his author moniker Prophet Rohvet, is a published author, groundbreaking podcaster, writer, community organizer, and host. His journey ignited in Columbia, SC, as a prolific artist and activist who led explosive rallies tearing down the Confederate Flag, exposing private prison executives, and even uniting rival gangs in the streets. Police branded him a threat. In a brazen, racially charged ambush, they triggered an illegal traffic stop that exploded into a high-speed chase through the city—his car spinning out at 120 mph, all captured on video. Miraculously, Palmetto and his vehicle walked away unscathed. Every charge was dropped. The leaked footage went nuclear, humiliated the department, and rocked Columbia to its core.Relentless harassment forced Palmetto and his crew to relocate to Atlanta in 2010. That same year he launched #2RAW4TV—a raw, resistance-fueled podcast unlike anything else at the time. Millions of views later, the first episode (November 4th, featuring Tony Award-winning HBO Def Poet Georgia Me) exploded, delivering unfiltered truth that helped spark Occupy, Black Lives Matter, No Kings, and Free Palestine movements. Organizers from those fronts became regulars. The show was cited by CNN, FOX NEWS, and MSNBC as the unwavering voice of the people, even coining the term “Woke” on air.No stranger to firestorms, 2RAW4TV survived a viral on-air guest arrest and the earliest cancel-culture deplatforming attempts—years before they targeted Nick Fuentes, the Tate Brothers, or Alex Jones. Donald Trump himself called for American-born Palmetto Star’s deportation on X. None of it stopped him. Instead, his no-holds-barred interviews and unbreakable consistency caught the eye of tech entrepreneur Andre Johnson. In 2023 they built the 2RAW4TV Network (2RAW4TV.TV)—an uncensored powerhouse hosting the flagship podcast plus hundreds of bold shows, hard-hitting articles, and world-shaking documentaries.Award-winning and internet-infamous, there is still no stopping 2RAW4TV. The Revolution will not be televised, its 2RAW4TV

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Censorship on social media is the reason Palmetto Star created 2RAW4TV network. Even though he makes millions of views on his Instagram account he has had to make dozens of accounts because he kept getting banned for telling the truth

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
