Daily Inspiration: Meet Quartez Bridges

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quartez Bridges.

Hi Quartez, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m from Muskegon Michigan, I started doing skits in my room after watching Khadi Don videos on Facebook, and I easily thought, “hmm I could really do this as well” I started impersonating people in my city at first and from my very first video during that time I was getting thousands of views and likes all the way to my senior year, I took a small break after I graduated and time was passing me by, I went months without posting, I was LOWKEY scared to get back on the scene because the audience started to become tougher to please and harder to go viral, I went to a live Wild N’ Out Show and heard DC Young Fly’s Testimony! It resparked a fire! My very first video back on the scene went viral, and it boosted my confidence! I just kept posting and it led to me being able to be a part of my FAVORITE SHOW EVER, which is Wild N’Out Chico bean and Karlous Miller came and I got to do a wild n out the live show with them. I DID MY THING! I kept posting videos after that… I eventually moved to Atlanta about eight months ago and worked with some of my favorite influencers, Pretty Vee, BRS KASH & Big Latto etc…Three days after me moving to Atlanta, I went EXTREMELY VIRAL after posting a video of me dancing with my aunt and we ended up on the Kelly Clarkson show! I was really, really scared when I moved to Atlanta, but I was determined! I’ve always been a go-getter. I’ve been on the shade room 4times and Beyoncé mom Tina, Viola Davis, Ludacris, and more celebs.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My grandfather, who was my bestfriend, passed away in 2014 battling three types of cancer. That alone was really hard to get through. As I’ve grown, I’ve lost a lot of friendships and I’ve noticed that when people see me shine, they try to dim my light! This has caused me to become somewhat depressed and not post videos! And just standoff in the background! My city has been so supportive of everything I do so I want to give a huge shoutout to them! It was also VERY HARD trying to balance working a 9-5 and doing YouTube at the same time! But I wanted to entertain people more than anything so I kept going and never gave up.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Youtuber/Entertainer/Social Media Influencer; I’m mostly known for my crazy Youtube videos and skits, also. My dance skills GO CRAZY!😂 I’m most known for doing dances called “the Lil Kim” “Katieeee” and “tezzy glitch” I specialize in creating different types of content, I’m most proud of the way I overcome stuff and accomplish goals such as being a part of a wild n out a live show, being apart of pretty vee’s music video at only the age of 21, what set me apart from others is my “outside of the box thinking and creative direction” I try to do everything I do different and add my own sauce to it, also one thing about me is… if I say I want to do and I really put my mind to it, I do it!

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is my mom! She is the MOST supportive and has ALWAYS been a part of everything I do, whether it be driving me HOURS to try to further my acting career, being a part of my videos, recording videos for me! Driving me to events, EVERYTHING I love my mom with everything in me! My family is why I try to be the best in everything I do. I watch my mom work EXTREMELY long hours to support me and my other two brothers, as of now, I owe her a red G Wagon And House. 😂
