Daily Inspiration: Meet Sarah Hooda Virani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Hooda Virani.

Hi Sarah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a 27 year old American Muslim, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Southern girl here!

I always had a passion for the camera but my love for FASHION really took off a couple of years ago when I’d find myself putting together outfits that I never really thought of pairing together. I draw a lot of my inspiration from my favorite content creators but I’d say Pinterest is my go-to when looking for the latest trends but also timeless, classic pieces. I see a top or a pair of pants online or in a store and I’m immediately able to visualize an entire look and vibe in my head. And then seeing that vision come to life through a photograph, it’s an art form for me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I’m a full-time student pursuing nursing. As of right now, I am in the process of completing all of my pre-nursing classes, after which I will be ready to apply to nursing school! It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do in life. So often, we are used to a “traditional” timeline of when our lives should come to together. However, I’m so happy to have finally found my calling! I’m excited to see what the nursing field has in store for me.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely telling myself that I can do it! Nursing is a hard field. It takes a toll on you emotionally, mentally and physically so believing in myself was the hardest part.

Any big plans?
Right now, my focus is definitely school but my husband and I have a jewelry business on Etsy called The Sultan House of Jewels. I’m excited to expand our line and introduce so many more beautiful, unique designs.
