Daily Inspiration: Meet Xander

Today we’d like to introduce you to Xander.

Hi Xander, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started in 2020 by taking photos of musicians in Atlanta & other places, conducted some business in France for a while & then came back. Should have just run away into the European wilderness instead 🙂

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being someone who works as an artist/someone in the entertainment industry who doesn’t have rich parents is one of the most egregious career paths someone could ever take. The main struggle that always remounts to the surface is the lack of options that you have when you don’t have funding from outside sources & art is an expensive game to play if you want to genuinely do something with it!! It’s not something that discourages me however.

I specialize in photo and video services! If you like my style, feel free to reach out! I moreso lean towards a retro futurist look. I love exploring textures of the early 2000’s & remembering how things looked when I was a kid.

What’s next?
My plans are to continue to fight & survive this current regime while the average citizen ignores what goes on around them. Besides that, I’d love to change my name & escape to New York with all recollection of Atlanta burned out of my mind :). But besides BOTH of those, I’d. truly love to take half of year & explore Ukraine because their culture fascinates me, but war ya know.
