Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Michel.

Hi Daniel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I saw an opportunity to give young creatives a space to learn, grow, experiment, and collaborate. We’ve had our doors open for theee years and have hosted an array of events.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We have faced challenges with funding.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about DŌM?
We see ourselves as an electric third space for creatives, by creatives. We have an abundant amount of events that we host from jams, dj sets, and comedy shows to transforming into a set for music videos and short films. We are proud of the community that we have cultivated and continue to nurture.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
We would love to see DŌM expand globally, with spaces around the world providing the tools necessary for creative growth.
