Exploring Life & Business with Imani Bashir of INLuxe Stays

Today we’d like to introduce you to Imani Bashir.

Hi Imani, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a military veteran, and my journey into real estate and entrepreneurship has been all about growth, self-discovery, and purpose. When I transitioned out of the military, I was at a point where I knew I wanted more for my life, but I was still figuring out what that looked like. One thing that’s always been consistent about me, though, is that I’ve always been a hustler. I’ve never been afraid to explore different paths and go after opportunities.

Before finding my place in real estate, I tapped into several industries — esthetics, nails, makeup, fashion design, the nightlife industry, and even car sales. Each experience helped shape me and showed me what I enjoy most, which is connecting with people, building relationships, and helping others make confident decisions. That’s what naturally led me to real estate.

Today, I’m proud to be a licensed real estate agent in both Georgia and Florida, and I’m approaching my one-year mark in the industry. Being able to serve clients in two major markets has opened up so many opportunities for me to grow my brand and expand my reach. I’ve truly found my passion in sales, client relationships, and creating experiences that go beyond just transactions.

Everything I’m doing is bigger than me. My family — especially my mom, my sister, and my brother, are a huge part of my “why.” I’m driven to create a lifestyle and legacy that not only impacts my life, but theirs as well.

I’m grateful for where I am and excited about continuing to grow, evolve, and build something meaningful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, and a big part of my journey has been navigating internal challenges while still pushing forward.

I’ve battled with depression and moments of imposter syndrome, especially while stepping into new spaces like real estate and entrepreneurship. There were times where I questioned if I was truly ready or deserving of the opportunities in front of me. Building confidence while simultaneously building a career required a lot of mental strength and self-discipline.

Losing my dad when I was in high school had a significant impact on me. It was a defining moment that shifted my perspective on life at a young age. At the same time, being raised by a hardworking single mother showed me what resilience, sacrifice, and determination truly look like. Watching her navigate life and provide for our family instilled a work ethic in me that I carry with me in everything I do.

Those experiences helped shape me into the person I am today. They gave me a deeper sense of purpose and a strong desire to build something meaningful — not just for myself, but for my family as well.

Over time, I’ve learned that challenges don’t define you — how you respond to them does. I’ve become more self-aware, more grounded, and more intentional about my growth. I’ve learned how to push through doubt, stay focused, and continue showing up for myself, even on the days it’s not easy.

Because of this, I approach my clients with a deeper level of empathy, patience, and understanding. I know what it feels like to navigate uncertainty, and I take pride in being someone my clients can trust to guide them with confidence and care.

Those challenges have strengthened me and continue to fuel my drive to succeed, grow, and build the life I envision.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business, INLuxe Enterprises LLC, is rooted in real estate, entrepreneurship, and the long-term vision of building generational wealth. As a licensed Realtor in both Georgia and Florida, I specialize in helping clients navigate the market with confidence—whether that’s securing their first home, investing strategically, or stepping into luxury living.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just sell properties—I help people see real estate as a wealth-building tool. My approach is very real, very transparent, and education-focused. I believe in breaking things down in a way that feels relatable, especially for young professionals and first-time buyers who may not have grown up with this type of knowledge.

Beyond real estate, I’m also a serial entrepreneur, constantly building and exploring new ventures under the INLuxe brand. Everything I create is centered around ownership, financial freedom, and creating a lifestyle that reflects both success and intention.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of building something that feels aspirational but still accessible. I want people to look at my journey and feel like, “I can do that too.” Whether it’s through real estate, business, or content, my goal is to inspire others to think bigger, move smarter, and start building something that lasts.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is from when my mom and I lived in North Carolina. We used to take trips to the beach all the time and just sit out there for hours. It was something so simple, but it always felt peaceful and special to me.

I remember the feeling of being by the water, the calmness, and just spending that quality time with her. Those moments really stuck with me, and I think that’s a big reason why I still love the beach so much today. It’s always been a place where I can relax, reflect, and feel grounded.
